WAHOO!!!!!! What WONDERFUL news! I will call off my London consulate hunger strike...

Oh, it's totally our week here in the Nov. thread!

I win the bad girlfriend award of the week: My alarm didn't go off, so I was about 45 minutes later to the airport than I meant to be, but luckily I arrived about a minute after Ewan picked up his bag from the carousel. Got the poor, sleepy dear back home, through the morning rush hour traffic, and he hopped straight into the shower. Sigh. It was a little bit awkward for the first ten minutes of him being here, but all good now :D He said the POE at LA was easy-peasy, took no more than 10 minutes...

Anyway, back to snuggling my poor tired fiance!

Hugs to all of you!!

You slept in for one of the momentous occasions of your life? How cool are you? That's hilarious! Glad he arrived safe and sound.

It's a wonder we even recognise our SO's after all this time. I've almost forgotten wot mine looks like. There is a risk I could launch myself at the wrong man at my POE.

Happy weekend November family! It's a good one for ALL of us x

Cool? That's definitely not how I felt! I got myself worked up in such a tizzy about being the worst ever, but because of my panicked weaving in the morning traffic, my timing was pretty good. Still felt pretty awful about it, especially since I was up til 2 am this morning, too excited to sleep... Boo.

I'm glad I recognized the right one (he was the one with the most luggage!), and I'm sure any man at your POE would be delighted to be launched at by a creature as lovely as yourself! Anyways, even if he doesn't look the same, I'm sure your bloodhound senses won't lead you astray!

So the UK donkey was officially last passed the post.....just got off the phone to DOS - INTERVIEW 19th May! FINALLY! 202 days from filing to interview date. Now there's so much to do, all that sitting on my butt consoling myself with non-stop donut and chocolate eating stops now! Just booked medical for 12th May and have to plan trip to London.

WE ARE ALL THROUGH NOW!.....and after all that has been said and done, I now kinda like the fact that I was last!

Remember the dark ages when there were over 120 November filers all waiting for NOA2? And no, that doesn't feel "like yesterday", it feels like another lifetime AGO and we've all aged about 10 years with the anxiety.

Congratulations Megan and a big welcome to Ewan! I totally know the "weird first ten minutes" feeling :) :)

Mrs D, yay for you too! Time to get those doggies of yours used to their travel crate!! You asked about my puppy - he has gotten huge and has settled in very well. He especially enjoys the dog parks here, there are always a few new unsuspecting pups he can lunge at and wrestle. The flying didn't seem to faze him at all, he just barked with me a little bit for locking him up for so long, but didn't seem scared or panicked at all, thank god. For me, it was a very hard trip, imagening what he is up to in the cargo below.

Thank you everyone ! :)

Naddy, my interview was super smooth. The CO asked for the forms ( DS 230, DS 156, DS 156 K ) and some very basic questions about our relationship ( mostly our plans for the wedding and future ). He didn' t ask for any kind of evidence nor for the I - 134 support documentation ( no tax returns, no pay stubs ). I' ll be picking up my visa on Thursday April 29 together with that whole giant envelope DO NOT OPEN. :)
