I feel happy for the CSC people - they are crankin' - but it's hard to watch. Come on Vermont! I wake up every day with hope of seeing a bunch of approvals... I've been sad this week.

Me too. I decided I had to take a break from talking to my poor man because I'd just start crying every time we were on the phone. I miss him so much, and there's no sign of things moving toward us being together....

Maybe Vermont is just waiting for CSC to catch up, and then they'll start going full force K1 attack mode again? It's something to hope for, anyway.

Me too. I decided I had to take a break from talking to my poor man because I'd just start crying every time we were on the phone. I miss him so much, and there's no sign of things moving toward us being together....

Maybe Vermont is just waiting for CSC to catch up, and then they'll start going full force K1 attack mode again? It's something to hope for, anyway.

I'm getting worried that by the time of getting my visa, the puppy will be too big to fly on board of the plane - I really didn't want to make him fly in cargo with the suitcases :((( We were so sure that we would be all together by February, approvals were coming out so fast last year.

Oh! Poor puppy! I hope he comes in under the limit and can fly with you. It would be scary to be down in cargo, I'd imagine (but I'm sure he'd get over it if it has to happen).

Same here - we could have filed much earlier, we just never realized this would be such a long process. So he leaves Hungary and we thought I'd be just a few weeks behind, hah. Guess I learned to research everything before doing - except for getting the puppy to early... but I just couldn't resist, he is made for us. :)

Fair call! I'm glad my kitty is already here in the US so he doesn't have to go on a plane. Is there a weight limit for dogs to be in the cabin with you?

8 kg with carrier - not really sure how much that is in lbs. A full grown version of my dog is 25 kg - he is only two months now, but still... Vermont! Take pity on my little vizsla!

Ok seriously #######. CSC is approving 3-7 cases a day. VSC not one case this week. ####### is going on, where are all the big brains on Visa Journey with an explanation of what is going on? Did Vermont secede from the Union? They giving off the whole month for MLK day now? #######?

Before Christmas my timeline suggested my case could be adjudicated by end of January, but if things don't happen soon at VSC, who knows when. I also have to wait an additional 1-3 months on a police certificate from Japan for my fiancee, only after the embassy receives our case. My hair is not only graying, I may start pulling it out.

It would be nice to at least know why there is nothing coming through... I have this urge to call somebody to ask, but don't know who :) I've pretty much given up on this week and keep telling myself that we all we be approved the next, when the Vermont people come back from their skiing or sick leave or strike or whatever.
