K1 VISA - VSC - NOV 2009

Today is MAR 13, 2010 - He's still waiting for his package from the embassy... not sure what we do from here besides me sending him the Affidavit of Support, Letter of continuing K1 Visa, and Financial documents (work employ letter, 2 previous tax returns, 2 recent pay check stubs, proof of ongoing relationships>emails, phone bills, calling card bills, skype msgs) before his interview. Is he supposed to send the embassy anything after I send him what he needs before the interview? This is where I'm confused.

Total days from NOA1-Interview Date= a few days short of 6 MONTHS! > estimated national time is 5 months.

You would have better answers in a Russian (RUB) boards. People who have gone (or are going) through Moscow should be able to help you out with information specific to the consulate.

When your fiancee receive the P3, some forms are to be returned to the embassy, and other are required to be submitted during the interview. He'll have all the instruction in the P3.

mmmmm, am I the only one hating the new forum?

Hey guys, glad to see so many cases making their way over the ocean <img src="http://www.visajourney.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

I got my shots yesterday which - aside from being surprisingly expensive - completely wiped me out for most of the day. But anyway, another checkmark to add to this process, almost there!!!

I also talked to the embassy, where they told me that I should go in as soon as I have all my documents ready and they will help me look through it to make sure it is on order for the interview. Once that is done, they will schedule the appointment. I was all ready to do just that next week right after the medical, except the police certificate I had issued turned out to be the wrong one (should have waited for embassy instructions before applying for everything <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> ), so now I have to wait another week before I can go in. Still, once again, I can see the light now, hoping for an early April reunion <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Have a great weekend everyone!

Early April?! Heck yeah! That's awesome! Congrats, and I hope that happens!

My Bday present <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wub.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="wub.gif" />

If she's still available for adoption once I get there

Omg, pls, I love her already <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/heart.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="(L)" border="0" alt="heart.gif" />

Also, me and the new forum are not getting along too well. I'm too old to adapt to this nonsense. It's taking me twice as long to do anything.

While boringly waiting for the P3, I started filling all the applications

what a pain I tell you, you have to fill the same exact information on 3 of the 4 forms. and you don't have the same amount of space to fill each time. So stupid ... they really need to review these forms, they ask more information then they give u space to fill them in. Like, "list all employment for the last 10 years", they give you 5 lines, but for "all places you lived in", they give you 8 lines, and for "the children", they give you 8 lines. like come on ...

Soooooooooooooooooo ...

On form DS-157, on #9, they ask to list all the countries you have entered in the last ten years, like, even tho I went on vaca, I have to mention it? I visited Europe, but it was like 1 or 2 days in each country every time, should I list that? knowing that there are no stamps on my passport?

Completely agree... I just got everything together today, and man, they don't make it easy with these forms... Anyway, still have to wait for the police certificate.

Stupid question coming, but what is DS-157? I don't see that required with P3.

I saw that the DS-157 is required for the france consulate, donno about yours, but, maybe better just fill it and take it with you just in case?

Naddy, wouldn't you think it's a time to stop though?

I understand that you put your "suffering" above everyone else, but yours is over now, so let some bile out and let it go, eh?

It's not anymore fun for us than it was for you. Everyone has their coping strategies.

It's getting redundant, you taking the cheap jabs and all

And whatever you might think, I am happy for each and every one of you here. And I don't understand why you'd worry about not getting a visa at all.

Think more positive :)

mmmmm, I wasn't pointing at anyone when i said that, so I donno why u ever thought that my comment was addressed to you  . Some think that the K1 journey is fun and easy, but it's not, and everyone will agree with me.

and, mmmm, where did you see that i put "my suffering" above everyone else? I suffered as much as anybody else on this thread, and on all the other thread. Oh! maybe you meant by "everyone else" the ones who aren't "suffering"?

And, talking bout cheap chatting, a game I don't play, maybe you and your friends should stop playing it before twisting other peoples posts and accuse them of cheap chatting.

Good luck on your journey. Now that you are past the 3 month waiting, maybe you will start to understand our past frustration. I said maybe, we never know ...
