Hey Everyone!!! I'm busy getting everything ready for the next steps but was wondering how many USC were planning on attending the interview. We are up in the air and not sure what the standard is.

cute

I'll practice saying "fiance" for the interview, but i will always call him hubby.

fiance is such a cold official word :alien:

hubby is such a warm loving word :luv:

Justar is out of VJ for some days, trying to relax.

This is the effect of almost 4 months waiting for the noa2.

Come on guys, send her noa2!!

I waited a week after receiving NOA2 hard copy.

But it goes fast at NVC. well, not for all of us, some get stuck there for 2 weeks or a month. I wonder why

Still crossing my fingers for justar. Come on VSC, give her the NOA2 so we could all be happy

Hey Everyone!!! I'm busy getting everything ready for the next steps but was wondering how many USC were planning on attending the interview. We are up in the air and not sure what the standard is.

I'm not going to the interview. Tickets to New Zealand are really expensive (it's pretty far away...) so I'm going to stay and work and save money for our future together. Also, Ewan's been to the US before on his own, so I don't think he'll have any problems navigating airports or anything.

I think they definitely recommend going to the interview if you're at a difficult consulate, but I don't think that applies to Germany. Entirely up to you. B-)

I-129F

6 Nov 2009: NOA1

2 March 2010: NOA2 (116 days)

14 April 2010: Interview (159 days) Approved!!

30 April 2010: Married!

AoS

18 May 2010: NOA1 for AoS, EAD and AP

8 June 2010: Case transferred to CSC

10 June 2010: Biometrics completed

31 July 2010: EAD and AP received!

9 Sept. 2010: RFE email for AoS

(RFE for medical. We replied with letter stating that it's not required since done overseas within one year)

18 January 2010: Interview - passed! Card production ordered!

LOL arwilson80!

And here are you still able to care about others, when you've just been put through your own untold anxiety of NVC sending your case to the WRONG embassy, getting your hopes ups that they had gone all caring and considerate and not making you travel to London, then finding out they had made an error! What are they like!

Aaaargh! Follow the thread, heisable and read back, or we're gonna be repeating this information again and again! As you haven't put when NVC received your case, or when your case left NVC, I've had a guess going by your NOA2 date and checked the DHL site for you.

A petition was received at Lagos consulate on 8 March. There was only 1 to Lagos that week, so it is likely to be yours. would that be mine because i got my noa2 on march 8,so i dont think it would get there that same day..dont have the day nvc received it my case yet..

Friends ! I decided to post and ask here as I was talking to you guys the other day about NVC and DHL.

I was on DHL website and there is one shipment dated 03 / 12 / 2010 with destination Ljubljana, Slovenia ( me :P ) . I believe this is our lovely package because there is rarely someone from Slovenia doing this kind of stuff.

Now, a question comes.

All the other shipment numbers have it' s origin in Portsmouth, NH and the one shipment number for LJ, Slovenia has it' s origin in Portsmouth, MA. Isn' t NVC in NH ?

Thanks ! :P

Well, MA is Massachusettes and I'm pretty sure there isn't a Portsmouth in MA, so I'm guessing it's just a slip of the finger on DHL's part? I could be wrong....of course.

I agree with you, doghandler. Can this cause any kind of problems or misunderstandings ?

Even when I check shipment details it comes out this :

U.S. DEPARTMENT OF STATE

Portsmouth, MA 03801

United States

When all the other shipment numbers have this :

U.S DEPARTMENT OF STATE

Portsmouth, NH 03801

United States

Should I worry or this doesn' t even matter ?

ALSO ! Everyone' s location service area is actually Boston, MA.
