That's good news for your arwilson80. Since when have they cared about "what would be easier for anyone"? That's a first, surely! LOL! If that's the case, they'd send me to the Edinburgh embassy, which is across the street from my house! I wouldn't even need to put my coat on!

That DHL tracking thing is fantastic. I tracked mine - they received it on 5 March, but according to NVC, they've not received it, which means, they haven't bothered to log it in yet, London being one of the slowest of all embassies!

Miss Jess, I tracked yours. Yours was received on 8 March, at 1.54pm to be precise!

OMG!!! :D Great news delivered by my favourite dog lover!!! ;) Thanks so much!!

Jess

I found lots which were delivered on 8 March, but none for Slovenia. What date did NVC tell you they shipped it?

I found lots from March 8 too but nothing from the 5 th, 6 th, 7 th.

We didn' t call NVC. I guess we' ll just wait for their letter to come. NOA 2 says it can take up to 4 weeks. Is this true ?

Thanks for checking, doghandler. :)

I think sometimes if they get a "hit" on your name from a background check at USCIS, they might look into it further at NVC. It seems like this is not too common, though, and in most people's cases, you get through NVC in a matter of days. Hopefully all us Nov. filers will be sped through and on to P3!

Although i'm in N.Ireland (UK) the NVC case number starts DBL (for Dublin). Lets hope it doesn't cause any problems with different jurisdictions. Have asked a question about it here.

Aaaargh! Follow the thread, heisable and read back, or we're gonna be repeating this information again and again! As you haven't put when NVC received your case, or when your case left NVC, I've had a guess going by your NOA2 date and checked the DHL site for you.

A petition was received at Lagos consulate on 8 March. There was only 1 to Lagos that week, so it is likely to be yours.

I'm wondering, for those who received a letter from NVC..

When you called NVC and they give you the date of when they received it and when they sent it, is the date they received it is the same as the one written on the letter?

For exemple, my letter from NVC is dated from March 05th, but we don't know when NVC really received our case. Is it precise? Because i'm trying to use the DHL tracking, and there's a package sent to Montreal everyday since march 5th to now. I want to know which one is mine hehe!

01/12/2011: GreenCard approved!!!!

Green card expiration date: 01/05/2013
Sent ROC package to VSC: 11/16/2012
NOA1: 11/20/2012

Approval: 04/29/2013!!!!

The NVC does not ship packages to the embassy everyday. They wait until a shipment is ready and send everything with that shipment. I'm sure some embassies receive more deliveries than others, but that is why you saw no deliveries for Mar. 5, 6, 7.
