I filed the I-130 for my wife [iR1/CR1] and am planning on filing I-129F [K3] also.

Below are the questions/fields on I-129f that seem confusing. Please advice.

Part A, 8B regarding A#. Now I am a naturalized citizen of the US, so am I required to enter this Alien number? Doesnt make whole lot of sense since I thought that the A# is for permanent residents??

Part A, 10 regarding method in which citizenship was acquired. I did enter the Naturalization Certificate number, location, etc. Now the 3rd question there is 'Have you obtained a certificate of citizenship in your name?', Yes I did get a certificate of citizenship when I became a citizen and thats what I answered in the first question, so not sure if I am suppose to repeat the same info again or not?

Part A, 11, 'Have you ever filed for this or any other alien fiancé(e) or husband/wife before?', Is this question asking if I have applied for K3 before? Or is it asking if I have applied for any visa for my wife? Obviously I have applied for IR1/CR1 [i-130] which is a prereq to this K3 thing. What am I suppose to say here?

Part B, 17 '17. Is your fiancé(e) related to you?' so as per instructions, I replaced the word fiance with wife. So this reads 'Is your wife related to you?'.... um, yea, shez my wife!!! (L)

Need clarification on the above IRS....sorry USCIS lingo.

Regarding question #1, A# stays with you for the rest of your life even after you become a natz citizen. It's on your certificate. So just enter that.

Regarding your question #2, 'Have you obtained a certificate of citizenship in your name?' ... it applies to you only if you aquired your citizenship through your parents (see the checkbox parent next to it?). Since it's not essential for minors to aquire their own natz cert if they got citizenship thru their parents, hence this question. In your cae (if you aquired citizenship yourself), leave this blank.

For #11, they are asking if you have applied for a K3 before (or so I understood this question to be) and I'm pretty darn certain about it

For part B 17, do not replace fiancee with spouse literally. Just put down N/A as it's mentioned in the instructions for the form.

Dude - my advice, get someone else to review your entire form just in case since you seem to be having a problem with a rather simple form :P

crifever,

You've got an A#, it's asked for, provide it.

Not have you applied for a visa before, have you filed a petition for an alien fiancee or spouse before.

Related biologically.
