And as for the Teabagging nomenclature...

I have heard them call themselves this.

Not exactly the same can be said for the Obamamania and Messianic labeling that the Sour Grapes Community have pegged those that were/are a little overenthusiastic about Obama's electoral prospects.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

then post a video of it. you know as well as the homoerotic projectionist do. it is meant to insult republicans.

I can't post my conservative friends' Facebook comments from the last time they went teabagging- AND I don't base my view of reality on what videos are available online.

But I am sure you can list a compendium of Google video results from 'We are teabaggers' and 'Teabagging for America.'

Jeez... cut it with the labels and move on to the substance- Teabaggers protest for the sake of protesting Obama while crassly ignoring reality while the Messiah label is very much insulting in nature and devoid of any rational or meritorious substance from within the support base for Obama.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

I'd be like trying to explain why a joke is funny to someone who has no sense of humor.

Like the smiling guy in your avatar?

Sorry but I can really imagine desperate souls trying to make everything out of nothing.

Has the pattern been looked at that Virginia has spend the last 24 years or something like that electing a governor contrary to the Party that wins the White House. Maybe the proximity to DC makes voters there play rollercoaster.

 That's how it has been in Arizona, which is a heavily Republican state. We've had quite a few Democrat Governors, but that didn't mean the commie....er, I mean the Democrats were taking over the state by any measure. I know it's hard to believe for the ideologues here, but most voters actually vote for the best candidate and not simply along ideological lines.

Perhaps Virginia went with tradition this time... and New Jersey went with a punitive vote for the most part. Republicans will try milking this, seeing what they want to see, and Democrats that are concerned about losing political steam will try refocusing their efforts at home and in Washington to remind the electorate of what they voted for last time they voted locally and nationally.

139 posts and nothing on the independent voters? Pretty lame even in OT. In any case, most independents broke for the GOP in NJ and VA so the Democrats have lost most people except for the hardcore true believers.

i'm out of state right now, but i know a lot of friends back home (Dems & Indies) were conflicted about voting for Corzine again because he was a wack governor and he didn't do the things he'd said he'd do...i.e, lowering property taxes for one...which are exorbitant in Jersey. That, and he ran a negative campaign.

i don't think it had much to do with Obama, i think Jersey Independents are just giving a chance to the devil they don't know...

Well - to be fair, Obama did stump for Corzine pretty extensively, but in the context of past presidents, he was merely doing what other presidents have traditionally done...stump for their party.

Cool. Post one. That might be interesting.

thanks bill. you posted it before me. lets see the video.

It will have to wait. I can't access any website that has any streaming videos. I can only assume that the large gaps in posts are embedded youtube videos. But by all means, you can do your own homework and do a simple search of either google videos or youtube.

I always think that is a really stupid thing to do... no matter who does it. IMO whatever + Obama got Corzine, it very likely wasn't sufficient to sway voters to think of the platform more than the punishment of Corzine for whatever reason- real or not real. You know how many people are... not exactly the most rational voters out there.

I agree. Because...when it comes to Governor races, voters don't really vote along party lines.

I have been preaching about how important the undecided vote (which in many cases are the Independents) is for a very long time now. They did vote something like 2-1 for the Republican in this case, but to say that only hardcore true believers are still voting Democrat is simply not the case. Like I said earlier in this thread these results should serve as a wakeup call to the Democrats... they need to build party unity & cohesion. If they can get the support from the Independents that is of course a bonus, but the Dems biggest problem is infighting.

Yep that too. And municipal elections... even more mixed.

Sorry, I was on a break. I got to go target shooting for my break and was catching up on posts. I was trying to address your homoerotic delusions. I guess you've taken your haldol and regained some lucidity.
