help with state medical insurance

hi,

I need help. I am a wife and u.s citizen. My husband just arrive here in u.s a few month ago. I am now pregant and my husband hasn't get a job yet. If I apply for state medical insurance, will it be effected with the Green card interview. I only want to just get medical insurance for three of us thru state medical insurance.

03/05/09 Medical Exam

04/01/09 Interview Date-Passed!

04/24/09 Visa pick up!

7/24/09 Arrive in U.S

8/12/09 Applied for Social Security Card

8/25/09 Civil Marriage

9/01/09 Apply for Green Card

11/09/09 Green card received

You as a US citizen and your child as a US citizen will qualify for means tested benefits. Your husband will not. Do what you need to do for you and your child. I don't know about State insurance as it varies from State to State.
