congrats! What kinda things did they ask you?

they just want to corroborate the info on your bio page, be sure you are the USC and future resident who attended the interview, she asked for documentation to prove a real marriage (IE bank statements, insurance benefits, lease agreements) she viewed photos (best to have of the relationship, engagement, and wedding so they know for sure its not a sham), and she asked only asked how did you meet and what our parents thought of getting married (we're youngns). that was it. 15 minutes, pure honesty veni vidi vici she even gave me the welcome letter at the end. hope this helps like many of these people helped me! peace!

September 15, 2009 ----- Got married in San Francisco, CA

November 6, 2009 ----- Sent package with I - 130, I - 485, and I - 765

November 18, 2009 ----- Checks cleared!!

November 19, 2009 ----- NOA's for I -130, I-485, and I-765!!!

November 20, 2009 ----- Received letter for biometrics appointment for December 11, 2009 at 1:00pm

December 1, 2009 ------ Received an email notice saying they are requesting initial evidence

December 8, 2009 ----- Official RFE arrived chez moi requesting me to submit my vaccination history

December 9, 2009 ----- Went to a doctor to get my vaccinations

December 11, 2009 ------ Biometrics: DONE

December 12, 2009 ------ Sent the evidence USCIS requested from me

January 12, 2010 ------ EAD card production ordered

January 19, 2010 ------ Got EAD in the mail!!!!!!!

January 19, 2010 ------- Went to local SS office and will get a SS in 7 to 14 days

January 25, 2010 -------- Received interview letter here in LA February 22, 2010 at 7: 30 am!!??

February 22, 2010 -------- InterviewEntrevistaL'Entretien!!!!!!!!!!

February 22, 2010 (9:00am) -- Obtained my welcome letter and GC approved (Y)

Now: drinking champagne and celebrating!!!

Hello All i am back. work keeps me busy... but here is a recap of the past month :)

My interview was on Feb 25th.. at 10:30am (it was snowing and raining and smart me decided to wear heels figure i almost fall 3 times while walking around in the Federal Building.. what a way to avoid attention hugh? my husband could not stop laughing) .

A "Young" IO took care of us (i was seriously expecting some mean white old folk) he was very serious but his appearance couldn't play along with his intimidating behavior.

Not a hello straight to the oath. sat down our documentation was already on the table. He asked each other for each others names. asked to put on the table any proof of bona-fide that we had brought and wish to attached to the files.

Questions were very simple parents names, each others occupations, where we live rent or owe. One questions we couldn't answer was our previous address and questioned it by asking if we never visited each other but we explained we knew how to get to each others places and that we basically lived in school since we both have the same profession.

Started looking at our albums of pictures (which we were kind of iffy to show since most of our pics are of us partying and drinking) and in effect the IO burst out a laugh when he saw our Halloween costume. made us pick two pictures for them to keep.

He did not give us the approval immediately because the were going to go over the documentation.

Today, 6 days after, i130 was touched :: card production ordered :jest:

I am really happy these processes have been smooth and painless of all of us.. Good luck to those who are still pending :)
