Marie, I just came here to tell you that I have my fingers crossed for you on the 4th!!!!!Good luck!!!!!I am sure it will be fine!I will be coming back here to read the good news! :star:(F)

Thank you so much  that is so sweet of you... Fingers crossed you finally get your good news soon after your crazy long wait.

This is probably my last visit till the interview tomorrow. Got an hotel room close to the USCIS office, since it is forcasting snow for tonight and tomorrow morning :-(

Good luck guys on the 4th! I hope we all have good news by the end of the week.... and a nice birthday lunch for my husband after the interview!

Good luck Mestis! Hope your interview goes really well and have a lovely Birthday lunch with your hubby too.

Hey guys! Wow it's really nearing the end for all of us now... Good luck to everyone who has their interviews this week, don't stress about it, it's a breeze, I'm starting to think that the interview at ROC stage will be a little more intense as by then you must and should have a lot more evidence, right?

Well we are still extremely frustrated, after every thing we went through I can still not go to work (Marie, you were right about E-verify, EAD is ok, but no ssn no work for the company I want to work for) start building credit, book our tickets to travel, buy a house together - all the good stuff, still waiting for that damn SS card and residency card to arrive in the mail and houses are being sold for dirt cheap all around us making us crazy, haha, got the welcome letter yesterday though so definetely a light at the end of the tunnel... I really hope to get everything by the end of this week, our house can not get any cleaner and I haven't spent this much time at the gym in ages, lol...

Thank you for your good luck wishes for all of us... I'm not nervous yet - the whole thing just seems kindof surreal... But i'm mostly excited to go on a mini break with my hubby, keep forgetting the reason why we're going on this trip lol! I think we have a lot of stuff for the interview but by ROC wow we will have sooo much more - car together tax returns, 2 years of joint accounts etc Maybe even a house!...

Aw Shani that sucks that you are still waiting even though you're now a perm. resident. I know companies legally can hire you without a social security number so longs you've applied - disney did for their international program and so do a lot of companies that have international program. But I know other companies are scared to do so. Especially if they've never done it before.

Your SSN should come soon though. It usually takes a week or so, so hopefully yours is on its way

OK now I am feeling a little better after yesterday's interview. I can recollect my thoughts and inform you guys how the interview went. My wife is USC and I am the beneficiary.

The appointment was scheduled for 2:05PM and me and my wife arrived at the Federal Building in San Francisco at 1:45PM. Things already started shaky right at the door. The security officers were like giving orders take this out, put this in. It was ridiculous. Anyways. Then we checked in at the counter and asked to wait. Around 2:20PM this young Japanese American IO came out and announced us. I said Hi and how you doing? but there was no response. She was totally like a wall. We got in the office and before we sat down asked to swear to tell the truth only the truth. Then she asked my and my wife's ID's and passports and then my SS card. However, I did not have my social security card with me. Then she started to ask me questions from G-325 form. last question was my last entry date to US. Of course I could not remember immediately. After that the whole questions about illegal activities. Then she asked for the joint documents. I gave her our joint bank statements, health insurance(she is on my plan, because my work's is cheaper than hers.) Documents that showing she is the beneficiary for my 401K plan and life insurance. Then she asked for joint lease agreement, I said she is not on the lease because otherwise my landlord would increase the rent. Wanted to see wedding pictures, asked who were at the wedding. We said it was just my wife's brother, sister and her boyfriend and my brother. The she asked how come we did not have our parents. My wife explained that i proposed her right before we went to Croatia and asked permission from her parents to marry her and they approved. But because of both my parents and her parents' business situation, they could not come here for the wedding and we are planning to have a bigger reception in the summer. She stared asking what kind of business my parents have. Then she asked when andhow we met. Who approached who. Where our first date was and how it was. At that point I started to get agitated with those questions. Because she was also looking pictures. She could see the whole story there. But she was playing with our nerves I guess. Then she asked me if I have kids, I said no, she asked again if I have any from my previous relationships like out of marriage child. I said again no and she asked if I have adopted any and I said no again. She turned to my wife and asked if she had any she said no and me and my wife started to look each other and what the hell is going on here. Then she look at our pictures from Thanksgiving dinner and asked who is who in the pictures. Then I really started to get annoyed. Then she went on the computer and she was printing out something and I thought finally we were over with this torture. Then she said she needed to look into more and gave a print out to us stating that case is in further review. I don't really know what that means I was on the verge of saying what to review further but I hold my self.

So the waiting game continues for us. :( I thought this was going to be a walk in the park. We were in the office about 20-25 min.

I don't know I might have missed few points here but overall this was our interview went. We'll see I guess.

Don't stress out so much, it seems like yours was a pretty straight forward and standard interview, nothing unusual... I know they do give couples a harder time when the USC is female, it's their job to be professional and stern I guess. You kind of have to ask them in the end "is that all?" "do you need anything else?" "so everything's ok?" to get an answer out of them, luckily we had the incident with the medical report that had to be revised and when we returned with it my husband made sure he got a clear answer from the IO.

Don't worry to much! I think that's normal thing that they told you for that your case is in further review. Just like our case. Our IO told us that he gonna review our case again and they will let us know if we need to submit the income tax return of 2009. And I'm so confused when we walk out at the room and then my husband explain to me what happened. And then After a couple a day we received a notification on e-mail stating that we are approved on Jan. 26.

Hope you guys the best! Goodluck!
