Congrats you guys!!! So happy for all of you that you finally got some good news - what a nice Christmas present - that must feel wonderful. All being well you'll have your green cards early Feb. You must all be so excited/nervous...

Hope you all had a lovely Holiday season too. :star:

As for us we just got back from our trip and have checked the mail and no news at all :crying: i'm worried now as our post office have managed to lose 2 packages this holiday season (one inbound & one outbound - my family in england got no holiday gifts and turns out their box never left the PO.) So yeah i'm hoping its just delayed as if its lost I don't know what will happen as I know the phone operators can't help..will be so relieved when this shows up.

Congrats to everybody who has received something in the mail! It was about time something interesting happened in the "November filers" thread, as it was getting to be boring reading! :-)

And, oh, hope you all had a lovely Christmas! I ended up staying in bloody Texas and not going off to Cleveland with my husband. Loooooooong story, mainly involving dogs! (Too complicated to explain). It was kinda good to be here, though, as I needed some "me time" to de-stress from all my worries about money (where is that bloody EAD card?!)

NOVEMBER 12 2009 - Cheques for I-485 and I-130 are finally cashed! [DAY 8]

Agreed - Dirtyweebesom it was definately about time something happened for all of us. Hopefully lots more lovely updates coming soon for all of us. So I guess its fair to say the online updates count for nothing. Congrats on the AP - but I totally agree with you - pretty useless... I think of the 3, I would like an interview letter first (so I could have some idea of when this awful waiting might end) followed by EAD (would be nice to make some money) then AP last...

Though ANY update would be nice!

My Christmas was good - we spent it in Tucson with my husband's family. Was nice to spend a lot of time with them. Though its nice to be back home. Plus the 14 hour drive each way even as a passenger (my hubby drove all of it) was way too long!

Ooh, there may be hope for the USCIS email/text message update system after all!

I just got a text telling me my AP was approved, and then a few minutes later, I received an email. And, amazingly, there has been a "touch" today on my AP case. I thought my status would be stuck "under review" forever.

Now if only they could work on getting those updates to you before you receive the bloody NOA!

I just got a text and an email to say that my EAD has been approved, and the card production has been ordered. Hurrah!

Still no sign of an interview letter, though.

I feel so bad for you, Marie, because I want you to have good news, too. It wasn't fair you couldn't do a biometrics walk-in, and now you have to wait longer for news, too!

But don't worry. I just think your postman has a hard time getting through all that snow you have up there. I've got a feeling you'll be hearing something very, very soon.

By the way, does anyone know why I can't change my signature to reflect these new updates? I keep on getting a message saying "Signature too long" but I've seen people on here with waaaaay longer signatures than mine.
