I received an email last night!

Application Type: I765 , APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION

Current Status: Card production ordered.

So it looks like things are starting to move again. Does anyone know the timeframe for them to make the card and have it sent to me?

Hey proplr, i know ive been out of the loop but I took my precious time to see your updates and its good to see that somethings have been touched and card production have been ordered. As for myself, the requested evidence in the form of my vaccination records and its safe to say i sent it and got my biometrics. people that work for uscis are so bitter man. whats wrong with them. anywho i wish you all the best and i hope the holidays dont interfere with out processes. hasta luego!

6 june 2007 --- came to the USA

30 aug 2007 --- got married

22 july 2008 --- our son was born

19 nov 2009 --- sent the AOS with I-130, I-131 and I-765

21 nov 2009 --- the AOS in the Chickago Lock Box

30 nov 2009 --- got all the papers back, have to redo some things

1 dec 2009 --- send the papers again

10 dec 2009 --- the checks cashed

12 dec 2009 --- NOAs recieved, happy

18 dec 2009 --- Biometric App letter received for the 5th of jan

5 jan 2010 --- Biometric App is done

23 jan 2010 --- request for initial evidence (medical and tax return)

21 march 2010 --- tax return sent

7 apr 2010 --- Employment Autorisation Card recieved

16 apr 2010 --- Interview App letter recieved for May 18

7 may 2010 --- medical exam done

14 may 2010 --- medical exam papers picked up

18 may 2010 --- interview done - APPROVED

That's it!!!!! Not waiting anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey papillon, i think offices will be open on the 29 and 30 because its not official holidays but i would strongly advise you try and call ahead and maybe you can achieve a walk in before the year is over. good luck!

My EAD card arrived today. Given that the update to announce it had been approved on Thursday (17th) and its now only Mon, thats pretty fast!

So dont expect a long wait if you get your EAD approved anytime soon :)

My EAD card arrived today. Given that the update to announce it had been approved on Thursday (17th) and its now only Mon, thats pretty fast!

So dont expect a long wait if you get your EAD approved anytime soon :)

Looks like things are slowing down but I guess there's still a day or two left :blush:

Slow?! God, they couldn't get any slower if they tried. There still hasn't been any new touches since November 25th! That's almost a whole month now. I just wish something would happen to break the monotony of all this waiting!

ADJUSTMENT OF STATUS

AUGUST 10 2004 - Arrived in Austin, TX with F-1 student visa status.

EARLY JAN/FEB 2008 - Met Michael (my future husband) in the café where he works.

APRIL 12 2008 - We go on our first date. It lasted 2 days!

APRIL 13 2009 - Got married in Marfa, TX, in the middle of the West Texan desert.

NOVEMBER 4 2009 - Finally saved up enough money to send off I-130; I-485; I-131; I-765.

NOVEMBER 5 2009 - Package arrived at the Chicago Lockbox at 9:32 a.m! Signed for by A. Analakis. [DAY 1]

NOVEMBER 12 2009 - Cheques for I-485 and I-130 are finally cashed! [DAY 8]

NOVEMBER 12 2009 - I-485, I-130, I-1765 & I-131 are all "touched"! [DAY 8]

JANUARY 2 2010 - Received EAD & interview letter (interview will be 02/16/10, San Antonio). [DAY 59]

Lol! That made me laugh, but sums up what I was thinking too! My I-130 & I-131 have seen no USCIS love since 11/27, I-485 & I-765 were touched on 12/10 - but that was only because of biometrics. I think our cases are feeling very abandoned - allegedly sat on the shelves getting dusty!

At this point I would take any update even the AP which I don't really need would be good... Scratch that at this point i'd take even a touch too show something is happening!

At least the holidays can hopefully keep us all busy... Do you guys have anything nice planned?

Hubby and I are leaving tomorrow, Palm Springs for 1 night then Tucson, AZ at my in laws' vacation home for 3 nights with all his family... :star:
