Hello Everyone

I am new in this forum but I have been reading your stories..

My husband filed my petition in September but he was a US Resident..last November he became US CITIZEN and we upgrade my petition...so I will count my petition from November...the update was confirm on Nov 20th so I believe that they will work on my petition from that date..

as many of you I check everyday the USCIS WEB PAGE.. I hope that they approved this month my petition but I believe will be On February...

well, I hope everybody here is Ok. and looking forward to share my Visa Journey with you

Well, there is hope on the horizon for everyone. I got an e-mail and txt today saying we were approved!!! The update went into the system for a txt message at about 2216 california time!!! I'm so excited now!! Now if only we wouldnt have had the RFE....we could have been approved a month ago! Either way..it's good news. Now to get the rest of the stuff put together for the NVC.

Hello! I sent in the I-130 on Halloween, but it wasn't received until the 2nd of November, so if you guys don't mind one more member, I think I'll come join your party.

How do you guys stand the waiting? :clock: I was checking the USCIS site every day before, but I gave up on that. It'll come when it comes, right? Hopefully that's soon for all of us.

I checked today the website and it says last updated January 14th..so that means I've been touched..hopefully good news coming soon.

I hate the wait just like everyone else. I have noticed several K-1/K-3 being approved pretty fast from the Vermont Service Center. They sent my I-130 to California when it was supposed to be sent to Vermont. :-(

Sent I-130: 11/13/2009

Received at Chicago Lockbox: 11/16/2009

Sent to CSC: 11/23/2009

Received NOA1: 11/28/2009

NVC:

02-25-2010 : Received NVC case number, but NVC is closed, so I can't give an operator our emails. :-(

02-27-2010 : Jumped the gun and emailed the VJ version of the DS 3032. Who knows what will happen :-)

03-01-2010 : Gave the operator both emails...waiting on DS3032 kit

03-02-2010 : Received DS3032 Kit; Resent DS3032 (just in case), Received AOS bill.

03-03-2010 : Paid AOS and IV bills; both are IN PROCESS

03-03-2010 : VJ email version of the DS3032 accepted (It was the one that was sent on 02-27-2010)

03-11-2010 : Both AOS + IV showed paid but processed on 03-05-2010 :-)

03-12-2010 : Mailed AOS packet. Waiting on my procrastinating hubby to send me his IV docs :-(

03-15-2010 : AOS signed for by St. Laurent at 10:03 a.m.

07-19-2010 : Received IV documents from hubby (Finally)

08-20-2010 : Called NVC and was told that we received a "stupid" RFE on 08-18-2010

09-03-2010 : RFE sent to the NVC today....SIF please come quickly.

09-07-2010 : RFE signed for by Desmond at 10:16 a.m.

09-10-2010 : NVC acknowledges receipt of the RFE

09-30-2010 : SIF

10-01-2010 : Case complete as per NVC AVR

10-05-2010 : Interview date assigned for November 29, 2010 at 7:00 a.m. Approved

I originally chimed in on the October filers thread since ours was accepted in October. We're actually a November case though, NOA1 on November 2nd. Ours was touched twice this week :), on the 1st then again on the 2nd. At least there's some activity so that's making us both feel better !! Best of luck to everyone!!

The timeline shows a lot of late October NOA1-ers are getting their NOA2s now. I expect in the next week or two the early November folks should start seeing theirs. As long as the CSC keeps up the pace. Anyone else seeing touches?

I got my approval on February 10th. Unfortunately I won't be going any further in the process, but I wanted to let you guys know that yours are probably coming soon. I hadn't been checking for touches, and actually planned to call and cancel it, but just never got around.
