I sent My I-130 On November 24th and Still am waiting for Them to cash The checks, :(

By the tracking it says it was received on November 27th.

I just want to know that everything is alright.

I sent My I-130 On November 24th and Still am waiting for Them to cash The checks, :(

Do not worry, everything goes well. You will get the NOA1 very soon

The notice date of our case is November 16,2009, but we got the NOA1 by mail on November 23,2009 from CSC. My hubby says CSC uses regular mail to send the NOA1. It took us one week (California-Burlington,VT) to get it.

Naturalization(N-400):
04/11/2013: N-400 Dallas,TX Lockbox

05/07/2013: Biometrics Appointment, USCIS St. Albans,VT

07/16/2013: Interview @ 3:00pm

08/05/2013: Oath Ceremony @ 2:00pm

SIGN UP for updates first. It's somewhere on the left side of the uscis.gov homepage. And then you may sign in to your account using your username and password. Not the case #.

Woke Up to see that they Have cashed my i-130 checks. Yay that means We will get a Noa1 soon.

Calmed down now :)

29 March 2012 Received everything back...wrong fee. thought we didn't have to pay biometrics since we were sending fingerprint cards and passport photos.

30 March 2012 Sent everything out again from Aviano AB, Italy.

10 April 2012 Check cashed

17 April 2012 Received NOA1 dated 6 April.

06 Dec 2012 Received 10 yr green card. Letter said it was approved 28 November 2012.

As I thought, NOA1 arrived with notice date of Dec 02, I guess I am officially a Dec filer lol ...

My NOA1 took 1 week and 5 days, coming from chicago to california to NJ in case anyone else needs a frame of reference.

I wanted to travel to see my husband for the holidays but we are really short on money (paying for school, and wedding loans) ... I need a christmas miracle because my sister is going to mexico, and my mother is going to miami assuming that i was leaving too :crying: ... If I don't travel i'm sleeping through the holidays, this year is going to be painful yikes!

:blush: I'm happy with my NOA1 tho !!!

Yeah i just checked my tracking number and they say it wasnt entered or i entered it wrong. So, i am in suspense on if it has made it there or not. Hopefully in the next day or so it will. I think there is no info because i mailed from an APO and not a normal postal site.

How do you get expedite request? Who can I email!!! - Thanks! Got my NOA 1 today - date 12/4

2009 - Scotland; Hawaii; Missouri; Mauritius & Rome (a good year)!

11/20/09 - Married in Mauritius

11/23/09 - Sent I-130

12/4/09 - NOA1

2/25/10 - NOA2

NVC

3/5/10 - NVC Case # Assigned

3/12/10 - AOS and IV BILLS paid

3/13/10 - Mailed AOS

3/17/10 - I-864 delivered NVC

3/23/10 - I-864 accepted

4/1/10 - DS-230 delivered 11:03 AM

4/6/10 - AVR updated DS-230 checklist received

4/14/10 - RFE on DS230 (lots of them)!

5/19/10 - RFE packet sign for at NVC

6/6/10 - SIF

7/2/10 - Interview scheduled, but then canceled by Naples

7/14/10 - After many calls interview rescheduled

7/13/10 - Husband mugged on way to interview, still waiting for new passport.

August 2010 - He got the new passport, but I moved to Italy - after trying to maintain overseas marriage, my life in the states was worth leaving

2/24/11 - Long story, now we both live in New Zealand :) (no greencard, hoping to transfer the case down under)

You need to be on a military deployment or going on one. That is the most common way to expedite the process. I dont think it will help that much though as it is the holidays now and i think everything has slowed down until after the new year.

Hmmm I called the military helpline again to see if there is any update to the case. They said they didnt have anything more than what i had on the 23rd of november. They said they could request another expedite and it should give me at least an update if the CSC received it or not. Of course being the holidays...i think everything is at a standstill. :rolleyes:

Well i got a reply from the USCIS.....It said that there was an RFE sent out on 1 December. I had to call my friend back in alaska to check through my mail there to find out what they want. Of course he just went to work so now I have to wait for him to get off work to check for it. I was looking through all my stuff here and the one thing I could think that they want is the stamped copy of my divorce decree. I thought i put it in the file pile when i was making copies, but i just saw that the copy that the court stamped is here. :angry: Although..the instructions did say copy. This really makes me mad that they wont give you information over the phone about an RFE! Now I am dependent on someone else to get me the info.

Well, hopefully they are looking at eveyone else's cases too. SO much for an expedite when i messed it up huh? Ok, im done venting.

It's so early in the process and already a test in patience. I check Igor's list a lot and I only see one NOA2 issued so far in December. I wonder if the coming holidays has already slowed everything down.
