I am a resident of Qatar and citizen of Bangladesh. Matter of fact, most of my life i spent in Qatar. Now i am about to submit my DS-230 and AOS to NVC. Also thinking to change consulate from Dhaka, Bangladesh to Doha, Qatar. Doha consulate seems to be very fast and convenient for me

Do you think it is too late or it will make the process delay?

Please need help.

if the case file has not been sent to a consulate (if it is still at NVC then it has not) then you are not harmed in anyway to request a change...

Hi,

1) How to ask NVC to change consulate. Should i just call them Or email Or a letter by mail?

2) How long does it take to change consulate?

Thanks

Hello, did anyone ever respond? My husband had moved to Yemen after our marriage (for work) so we filed stating Sanaa as the location. He has since moved back to his home country of Nigeria and I would like to change where he has his interview there because it will be too hard to travel back to Sanaa. Any suggestions? Do I just sent an email to NVC? The DS-230 has not been filed as of yet. Thanks

Hi Cheyemo,

Please check this link. It is a very easy process. You can just email them with prove of your presence in the city you want to transfer the case.
