Medical Exam before USEM Packet Arrives

Dear all,

We are still waiting for the K3 instructional packet from Manila Embassy, however we don't want to keep waiting and wasting time. Can my wife go to the St Luke medical exam before packet arrives? If yes, then what documents are required? We don't have an email from NVC. But I'm expecting to get a letter in the mail soon, would that work?

Hi fransha thank you. I'm happy to see that we can do the exam ahead of time. One question, I'm doing K3 and didn't get an email from NVC or IV bill. What did you use in addition to the NOA2 as evidence of your case number to show to St Luke?

You will not receive an IV bill with the non immigrant K3 visa. Have you called the NVC to get the MNL number? The NVC will send the MNL number by mail, but you can call and get the number by phone. After you have the MNL number you can call and schedule an interview as soon as the Embasy enters your info into their computer system. This normally takes a week or two after NVC has forwarded your approved petition.

Many filipinas have had their medical with the NOA2. Qoute,"yes the guard will ask you if you have the appointment letter,BUT if you want to do an early medical just bring a copy of NOA2 or letter from NVC and they will allow you to have it early." from Advance Medical St. Lukes topic.

Packet 3 was not used by the USEM. Packet IV has been replaced by downloading the documents form the USEM website. Go to the USEM website to schedule the interview appointment and download instructions and forms. Read the K Visa section headings: http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3238.html

Hello edp333 thanks. I got the NVC letter yesterday and scanned and emailed to my wife. She will use it to get the medical done. Also, I called USEM but they told me she is not yet eligible for an interview date and told me to call back in two weeks. I will try back again on Monday.
