I'm curious, if anyone ever been approved after submitting the required documents listed on the 221g. We were denied because some documents my fiancee need to obtain and submit to the embassy.

why denied? i also have 221g and consular asked me to send one more document that single certificate so that why my visa's pending then when they got my single certificate they called me to say that i have to submit my passport then i did. after 5 days i got my Visa now i'm going to usa soon :)

HONGKONG PHILIPPINES PASSPORT

oct 28 2008--MARRIED

dec 28 2008 -- send the i-130 to uscis

feb 3-2009-- approaved

feb - 2009 -- bill generated

feb- 2009 --choice of address

mar 18 2009 --IV Fee Payment Receipt Details online in process for visa payment

mar - 2009-- recieved ds-230

april 1 2009 -- missing documents i-864 (something skip) sent back by then..

May - 2009 ---sent ds-230/NBI/marriages contract/birthcert/photo( original copy)

june 24 2009 --sent to nvc payment statement..

june 26 2009-- resent the reciept of IV fee.nvc missing..

july 1 2009----recieved INSTRUCTION PACKET AGENT..

july 27-2009 NVC completed.

july 31-2009 medical

sept 4 2009 INTERVIEW

sept 4 2009 passed the interview but my visa pending its bcoz i do need to send CENOMAR ( certificate of no marriages) NSO should be send direct to us consulate in hongkong then my visa will send to me once they receive my CENOMAR... wait for another month again :(

sept 17,09 NSO already send the CENOMAR to hongkong consulate.

sept 30,09 HongKong us consulate received my CENOMAR

oct 7.09 visa in hand :)

nov 23,09 Port of entry

dec 15.09 letter from uscis (WELCOME NOTICE)

January 15 2010 expected to receive the original green card..

thanks for the response.

he have to submit a PCC for Bangladesh, get another copy of birth certificate, a letter from his employer (though I think this is embassy specific) and a name affadavit from the Bangladesh embassy stating his last name is listed first and then first name... and they wanted more logs for our emails and yahoo messenger but was satisfied with the amount of pictures he gave them

give them exactly what they have asked for and u should be ok........

did he interview in saudi or go home for the interview? one of the things that hits me is that they can not get a police report from saudi unless he is saudi national this is prolly why they are asking for a letter from his employer?

He interviewed with consulate in Riyadh because that is where he is currently working and if you have a permanent residence in the country you are working, you can interview at that consulate. thanks for the help... and Sara good luck with your upcoming interview, I'm sure all will go well inshallah

My fiance got the same thing after the interview, they wanted some court document cause ours had a "no live trace" on his police clearance ACPO in England for a old letting air out of tires incident on his record from when he was 18. Sooo we have to go dig for that and mail it in with our passport THEN we get our visa...jeezzzzzzzzzzzzzz

thank you very much ......... we tried very hard to get a report for perviz from saudi he was there for a year working at the hospital but we could not get one we expect for the embassy to throw some kind of fit about it when he interviews but he is armed with the state department print out of countries u can not get that from.......

im sure that ur husband will have is visa soon........ur in my prayers

Oh my gosh...it happens often, and once the documents are given, people are approved. Wishing you the best!

We sure hope once we send his required document with his passport they'll send it with the visa shortly after that...will be posting of course the news when we have it the end of this month....
