I have submitted I-130 for my wife. Now i have to submit the I-864 and am confused on how to calculate the HouseHOLD size. If I include myself plus the person i am sponsoring (which is my wife)+ i am married ( it add upto 3). Do you think it is correct? i believe it should be 2. Please let me know. thanks for your help.

In section 21 if you read it right above b. yourself it states persons that are NOT sponsored in the affidavit. You are only going to put 1 at the bottom

Usman you are not following the directions for filling this section out properly, the house hold is 2 people not 3 people unless you have someone else besides you and your wife living together. Please read the instructions again and refer to the example forms if you still dont understand the instructions. The example forms can be very helpfull.

It is yourself (as you support yourself) plus your wife... Total of 2... If you have other people in the house that you support you would add them...

It's the instruction not to count anybody twice that is not being followed. Do not enter a number for "spouse" as your spouse is the sponsored immigrant already entered above.

I have ran across this too and I have received an RFE. Don't put 1 for your wife. Put one for you and 0 if you are married and 1 for the sponsored immigrant. So 2

July 30, 2009…Got NOA #2 (YA ALLAH)

NVC STAGE

August 15, 2009…Got NVC Case Number BGHXXXXXXXX

August 20, 2009…Paid AOS Fee

August 21, 2009…Sent in DS-3032

August 28, 2009…Paid IV Bill

September 1, 2009…Sent in AOS Packet

September 8, 2009…Sent in DS-230 Packet

October 23, 2009…Sign in FAILED!! WOO HOO!!!

October 24, 2009…CASE COMPLETED!!!

October 30, 2009...Got Interview Date!!!!!!!

INTERVIEW STAGE

November 13, 2009...Case forwarded to Baghdad (8809227350)

November 22, 2009...Case Received in Baghdad and Signed for by Caro at 3:00 PM

December 5, 2009…Medical Exam

December 20, 2009…Interview at the US Embassy In Baghdad, Iraq (YA ALLAH HELP HIM) APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!! Just need to get some papers in and will get Passport back.

January 25, 2010...VISA ISSUED!!!!

January 30, 2010…Visa in Hand (YA ALLAH WA AKBAR)

POE STAGE

February 5, 2010…POE at Seattle, Washington

DONE WITH THIS VISA #######! :)

Please not also that if you are submitting an I-864 it is not for a K3 visa as noted in your profile. The I-864 is submitted for the CR1 or IR1 visas, not K3.

Yes but on the I-864, since your wife is already counted as the intending immigrant, you do not put a number in the box next to "spouse".
