This topic is for Nigerian petitions approved in October and November 2009.

I have noticed that many people approved in August and September '09 have interview dates scheduled
within 2 months of the Embassy receiving their approved petition.

Please post your INTERVIEW DATE, Post-NOA2 updates, and any pertinent information related
to your interview and the information contained in Packets 3&4.

This information will help others estimate when their interview date is approaching as well as
offer help and advice to those completing the Packet requirements.

***Please remember to update your timelines***

Thanks guys :star:

I called the US Department of State this morning and they said my file has been entered into the system in Lagos.

I suppose I should be receiving an email with the packet instructions soon. We have already downloaded the packet from the embassy website but we are waiting on the interview date before proceeding.

My fiance plans to travel and stay in Lagos with family members 3 weeks before his interview date to get everything done.

I sent all the paperwork via UPS and it cost $313.00 for 10lbs.

Looking forward to a Happy New Year!!!

Hello HUm,

Congratulations are in order. Just so you know it is difficult to get a specific thread going in the Sub-sahran. The numbers of particpants just do not support a thread with specific months.

Good luck.

Hello HoneyHummingbird,

You should definitely follow up with the Department of state on Friday and ask them if you have an interview date.At the same time email Lagos consulate at LagosIV@state.gov requesting your interview date. Make sure on the subject line you put your NVC case number (the number should start with LGS) your fiancees name and date of birth and make sure you include "Interview appointment date request. Just keep emailing them until they reply because I believe you will need the copy of the email reply they sent you to take along to the interview. All the best

Nwanyioma
