We had our interview today and to say my fiancee wasn't prepared would almost be an understatement at this point. As most women know (sorry guys) men don't like to listen and if you are telling to do something complete opposite of what they believe they will go their own way and then come back to you telling they should have listen to you the first time. Anyways, I told him he should obtain all PCC for all the places he lived since 16 which is only two countries, Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia. He of course only got the PCC for Saudi Arabia since he has been there for last 7 years. Also, he didn't have a birth certificate, but birth certificates only recently are becoming available in Bangladesh and the birth document he had was not sufficient for the embassy. Another document he needed was proof of employment and salary for his current company he works for in Saudi Arabia. Now, why exactly he needed this is still a mystery to me and i don't know why it's necessary in the first place since its up to the sponsor to show financial information. He had a letter of my employment, income taxes for last 3 years and about 5 months of pay stubs from me. Another inconsistency was his name listed on passport, in the US our last name (family name) is listed first and then our first/ middle names, and on his passport it is listed the same way, but they insisted that it was backwards and now he has to go to the Bangladesh embassy to get a statement saying it is listed as last name first and then his first name....

Also, I told him to print every e-mail and to get at least year's worth of our messenger chats, but he didn't want to carry all that paper. Famous last words, as he now going to be doing it now to send back with the rest of the paper work. The guy told him to send all this information back as soon as possible and told him to keep his passport because he will need it once he go to the Bangladeshi embassy for the name affadavit....

Questions he was asked, was pretty much .. how did we meet? how long we've been together?... when was the last time we met in person?, was he divorced? any kids from previous marriage, how did he support his child and how often did he talk to his child? where did his child live? Why did he get a divorce? Then the CO did something completely out of character, by asking him for his ex-wife number as if the divorce decree he obtained and submitted wasn't proof they were divorced. (It was a bitter divorce, if he ask her anything he should be ready for all kinds of lies, I mean stories. I had to put her number on call block and messenger on ignore, like it was my fault they got a divorce. He had seperated from her four years ago and filed for divorce 3 years ago and I've been only knowing him for a little over 2 years now) Anyways, he was asked what did he like about me and my hobbies. He told them I love to read fiction books (this is true) but he couldn't name an author of a book I've read. hmm not sure if this was red flag or not but he probably had a mental cramp and just couldn't remember and I'm also pretty certain I don't talk about books I'm reading as I may be reading one book and on a completely different book tomorrow. Yes, I read fast.

Anyways, he got the famous blue slip and was told submit the documents they requested as soon as possible and told him to have it fed-ex. They kept all the pictures, emails he did print, call logs and other papers. I'm not sure what they are feeling about approval for him but for me I'm feeling blue.

So if you are going through Riyadh embassy, make sure you print as much chat information, call logs, emails as possible even if you overload the printer and it craps out on you. They expect to see a lot of papers. Now my fiancee will be overloading the printer at his office. He now is going to print every email I ever sent rather it was personal, informational or just plain nonsense and will be printing our messenger chats from yahoo, skype and msn.

Hi,

Just out of curiosity, What are the updates on your case? My case has just been completed in NVC and it is going to be send to Riyadh Embassy. I have read this thread and it seems that the condition is very bad in Riyadh embassy. The last post in this thread was a long time ago. Can someone update his/her status. Is there anyone else who is going through Riyadh Embassy??

Please give some guidelines.

1) My case was completed in NVC on 15 Jan. How long it will take to receive the details of medical and interview dates?

2) Which hospitals are approved for medical exam?

Thanks in advance
