Nice picture, Ashen.

It's really helpful.

Hopefully :) Thanks

I wanted to take more, but my camera batteries, AND my spare camera batteries died :(

Or if you get there early enough just follow the receptionist. She'll tell you where to go after she unlocks the doors

So my medical's okay.

It didn't get stolen, yay.

My mom thinks it's stupid that you can't see the results, but whatever.

She just doesn't get it sometimes.

I wish we could. I mean, I think we have a right to know what our own body's are doing and if it's going to affect anything.

I was thinking a few hours after I got it done that he asked me if I had had any surgeries, and I said no, then went on to ask me if I had any scars from surgeries. That confused me, because clearly the answer was no, so I said no right away, but I realized he might have been asking if I had any scars in general, in which case, of course the answer is yes (I mean, who reaches age 29 with NO scars?! LOL I have had no broken bones, but I have my share of scars). Anyways. Now I'm worried about that of course, cause I feel like I unintentionally lied.

I know we are at that stage when we will be paranoid about each and every detail.

But I think with the medical everyone is in the clear unless the doc says "O ur missing that vaccine!!". Or anything related to TB or HIV.

If you've had normal chest xrays and blood tests and are up to date with vaccines, then I doubt there is anything to worry about.

Ppl have surgeries for broken bones and what not doesnt mean they are "unhealthy".

Do not panic :)

CanAmerican is right! If there was something wrong with your medical results, or something to be concerned about the doctor would tell you. They are doctors after all, and it is their job to report any irregularities to you, regardless of what the exam is for. And also remember that there are only a few specific medical grounds they can and will deny your visa for.

Ashen- I remember thinking that question was weird too and I said no, both times. Its all good my dear.

lol Thanks guys :)

I've never had a chest x-ray before. I don't even know what they'd be looking for! And I've never really had bloodwork done, but I donated blood once, and had a titre test for the chicken pox thing, but in recent years that's about it. I guess it's because I really have no clue since I haven't been to a doctor in YEARS other than a few walk in clinic visits. I don't really know what to expect, or if they'll find something. lol

I'm all up to date on vaccines though. So that was good :D

Oh... also, lately people at work have been talking about this 'I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant!' show that's on TV... now I'm like 'OMG! What if I'm pregnant and don't know?!?! OH GOD'... hahaha yeah I would cry. That would be my worst nightmare actually.

Actually... some people still get their period, or have such irregular periods they don't notice any missing. I don't get how you could go a full 8 or 9 months without knowing, but I could see someone not knowing for 4 or 5 months, but that's about it. After that, I'd LIKE to think it'd be kinda obvious.

I've heard of that too, but isn't that more of a rarity than anything?

I knew a lot of gals in highschool who didn't know a blessed thing about their period, but that was due to their own laziness at keeping track than anything else.
