Ah, thank you. I suppose the worst that could happen is that they say no.

I'm also assuming they don't want an unconscious Sam on the floor of their offices... I tend to be quite cranky when I stir, haha.

I'm sure it'd be fine... maybe just make sure it's in a bottled container that you can close. I didn't see any signs or anything that say 'no food or drink' so you're probably ok. Also, maybe bring it in unopened, so they know for sure. But I honestly don't think they'll care. I had a big reusable grocery bag type thing with me, and no one batted an eyelash at it.

Does anyone know if we're allowed to bring juice or something in with us? I have a tendency of passing out after bloodwork/shots, so I've gotten into the habit of always bringing along orange juice or something along those lines.

Tell the nurse about your tendency of passing out. I told her "One time I felt a little dizzy" & she said "lay down on the bed....it is Your responsibility to tell us if you have issues with giving blood" Ha.

So she'll get you to lie down on the bed instead(which made it more comfortable for me anyways).

I don't see why you can't bring juice...some girl had a Starbucks drink with her.

And yeah, I've learned from experience to always tell the nurse that I had a tendency of passing out. One didn't believe me and sent me on my way... then had to carry me back into her office when I fainted outside the elevators.

I'll bring it unopened and let them know. Thanks for the info.

I just picked up the results for my medical today. They said everything was great and bring the sealed envelope and xray to the interview.

They also gave me a sheet for Vaccination Documentation.

On this, under no.2 the Results section, the doc check marked "application maybe eligible for blanket waivers as indicated above"

I had all the vaccinations but for Gardisil I only had the first.

Anyone else have the same ticky box ticked??

Why am I so paranoid about everything??

Mine looks like it says the same thing. A bunch of boxes checked "not age appropriate" If they said it was all good, then it's good-to-go.

That ticky box just means it was too soon for your next gardasil shot, its fine, nothing to be worried about. I'm sure almost all of us have it.

Half of the time, Canada Post doesn't even wait for a signature. Of course, when you rely on their incompetence, that's when they'll aim to stick to policy.
