I buy tickets from StubHub all the time. Sometimes you can find really good deals! I got first row seats in the upper bowl of the Pepsi center last week for $30 a piece.

Krikit will be happy we've decided to gather in one thread :P

Hey thanks for the suggestion - I checked them out and they do have tickets - but at $375 a piece (up from the $250 listed price) - my Husband has decided he doesn't want to go that bad

Whoa, yikes! I guess you can also get dinged really bad! Usually Avs tickets are pretty readily available, so sometimes season ticket holders just take what they can get instead of wasting the ticket.

On a random note I'm glad you brought back the sleepy mouse! :D

Big hockey fan...Canucks mainly, but I have a feeling it won't be hard to become a Caps fan when I'm living in Washington. I love hockey in general though. Played ball hockey throughout high school, played little league baseball as a kid...so I like my sports.

I love rugby too (I'm part Kiwi), though it's impossible to find it on TV these days without digital. I don't mind baseball from time to time. I have no interest in basketball or football.

I hope to be living in the U.S. by February, but if not, well, there's something to be said for experiencing the Olympics as a Vancouverite...

OK, here is something i've never understood. Why would you wear a jersey to a game of a team or player who does not play for either team that is playing at the arena? I've seen it a few times in all sports, but mostly in hockey.

Man, I love sports. I've never been any good at playing them, but something about a fierce professional competition makes me all warm and tingly :P

Avs/Leafs, Rockies, Broncos. I'm actually just learning football, slowly, so the Broncos thing is a new addition. Unfortunately they lost :(

I can't wait for the olympics! Thats good times.

Invesco Field at Mile High, I went past that place too many times. They never invite me in to play.

I agree! As my friend said of facebook, "Game 5. Time to channel the spirits of Curt Schilling in 1993 and the 1985 KC Royals. IT AIN'T OVER YET! THE FAT LADY'S GONNA CHOKE ON A CHEESESTEAK! GO PHILLIES!":thumbs:

So that's what happened to Kate Smith.
