Hey everyone, I guess this is where I belong now. Looking forward to my biometrics. Means a roadtrip and a night in the city. Can't wait.

Anyone know if Kansas City accepts walk-ins or if all the field offices do?

At least one of ours is moving. My wife got her Bio Appointment in the mail, Nov 21st, 2009. We are scheduled for Dec 9th, 2009.

Our daughter has had no update since the initial NOA :unsure:. At this point, all we can think of is that we made a mistake of some kind filling out her AOS :bonk: . So we wait...

Update to this...

Our daughter's Bio Appointment came in the mail, Nov 23rd :blink: although completely baffled, we are happy that hers is still moving! She actually got an appointment ahead of my wife for Dec 8th. We are gong to try to get both done at the same time.

I guess we can skip the online updates for us, since they do not follow what is happening very well. Good luck, November filers!

Similar situation here, my daughter isn't available in the online update system. My daughter's only four however and I'm sure I read that she won't get biometric's. You have to be 14 for that to be required. Maybe the just put children in the same file and once you're approved it's an automatic for them as well.

I would say the field offices should accept walk-ins as long as you have the appointment letter. My appointment was scheduled for Dec, 10th but I just did my walk-in this morning in San Francisco field office. They did not even question it. Everything was done in 15 minutes.

Our cousin's daughter is also in a similar situation, K-2, age eight. She had the Bio Appointment at the same time as her mother, but has yet to get her Green Card. Her mother got her Green Card in six weeks!

Our daughter is ten... so who knows how ours will go in this crazy process! Like you, I kinda gave up on the automatic updates. So far, they know where to mail everything and waiting now is much easier than it was for the visa :yes: Best of luck!

Hey you guys,

I tried to do a biometrics walk in today - but no luck the IO was very polite looked at my appointment letter and told me they don't take anyone early and to come back on my apt date :crying:

Guess i have 1 of the few ASC's that don't take walk ins :unsure:

Good luck to everyone else trying walk ins - hope you all have better luck! :thumbs:

Happy Thanksgiving! We just got biometrics letter today scheduled for December 16th but I'm planning to do a walk in on Monday or Tuesday. Haven't heard whether or not Nashville does them, but I'm hoping they do since I'm really hoping to move the process along to get my EAD so I can work!
