congrats,

need some general info, i filed on the 7 of november, and i have had two rfe's, the last was for a co-sponsor, as my husband had just started his job. my question is if i filed in nov 2009 is it ok for my sponsor to send a 2008 tax return ( as this is what i did when i applied) as the original date of application would certainly apply to 2008 tax return. I sent the rfe back today.??????????????????????????????

I am getting unpatient these days. I have filled my AOS on November 16th of 2009. I have already received my Employment Authorization and Advanced Parole. My AOS got transfered to California Service Center on 01/20/2010. Since then I haven't heard anything from USCIS.

Why is this taking forever??? How many others are out there in my situation? :(

This is happening to me. My case was transferred on December and then I received an e-mail saying my case was pending and nothing more happend. I'm very nervous.

This seems to be happening to a lot of us who have had our cases transferred to CSC. I wonder what is happening over at CSC. I have read elsewhere that when people have called in to enquire, they were told that CSC is currently processing September 2009 applicants. Very slow indeed! The others who got interview letters were processed a lot more quickly.

AOS Phase

January 11, 2010: - Mailed AOS packet (I-485/ I-765/ I-131)

January 13, 2010: - Chicago received AOS packet

January 19, 2010: - Received 3 NOA email

January 20, 2010: - Check cashed[/color]

January 22, 2010: - Received 3 NOA hardcopies in the mail1st touch I-485, I-765 & I-131

February 01, 2010: - Touch - I-765 (EAD)

February 08, 2010: - Touch - I-485

February 08, 2010: - Case moved to CSC

February 13, 2010: - Received Biometrics Appointment Letter (After a long wait!)

February 15, 2010: - Touch - I-485 & received e-mail that case is now pending

March 09, 2010: - Biometrics completed, Touch - I-765 (EAD)

March 10, 2010: - Touch - I-485 & Another Touch - I-765 (EAD)

March 17, 2010: - EAD Card Production, Touch - I-131 (AP) & I-1765 (EAD)

Does somebody know: Why are people sometimes invited to the interview and some are not but get the GC anyway?

Does somebody know: Why are people sometimes invited to the interview and some are not but get the GC anyway?

As far as I know they interview everyone that's adjusting from a work/student/tourist visa. Then just randomly interview some of the K1/K3s. I thought if you were transferred to California Service Center things would move faster, as no interview.

I feel so bad for you guys, it sucks you're still waiting. Maybe you could make an info pass appointment and find out what's holding it up. Hope you don't have to wait too much longer. Good Luck :thumbs:
