Hi everybody!

We are getting ready to send I-485 and I-130 on the 18th of this month. And we've got a couple of questions.

My I-94 doesn't have an expiration date. What do I do? :wacko:

In the I-485, part 1, very last question: Expires on (mm/dd/yyyy) - what expires? status? I-94? what do I write?

Also, I came here 2,5 years ago on J-1 visa, and before it expired we got married, though it has been 2 years since my visa expired :blush: . But only now we can apply for I-485 and !-130, cause they cost sooo much money. Do you think it's gonna matter too much?

Please, I really need the answers!!!

Your I-94 probably has "D/S" in the expiration place (stands for Duration of Status) which means it is (or was) tied to your J-1.

we're still waiting for our NOA1s.. i kept calling western union, and it looks like the money order hasn't been cashed in.. i do hope there was nothing wrong with it :blush:

Hi everyone,

We sent our package on November 4th and we're still waiting for the NOA1. We received the return receipt and the check was cashed on the 16th, so I guess it should arrive any day now....

i just called western union and apparently our money order ($1010) had been cashed nov. 18'09 :) so the NOA1s should be coming in the mail anytime after that then ^_^

so how's everyone doing? we're still waiting for the NOA1, we called USCIS military hotline yesterday and they said if we don't get it today we should call but we usually get to check the mail a night so obviously they're already closed.. so ill prolly call again monday
