Yes, that is great news. It gives those who also have no updates on the USCIS website some hope that their cases are being worked on. I do wish they would keep the system more up to date!!!

I just received both an email and sms update from USCIS that my EAD is post-production and my AP had been approved;

I am planning on using the AP, so is the notice for the AP the only thing I need or should I expect another document for the AP? coz it said On there :

On February 9, 2010, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I131 APPLICATION FOR USCIS TRAVEL DOCUMENT.

I really plan on using the AP asap.. and how long does it usually take for the actual AP to be in the mail?

Congratulations, I know you were waiting for this!!! We received our AP within 5 days from the date it was approved.

On February 10, 2010, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you.."

The previous post inspired me to check the USCIS website. I expected that the government is still shut down with the storm, but it appears that our application was also approved and document (green card) has been ordered!!!! Woooo hoooo!!! My best wishes that those of you who are still waiting will get theirs soon too!!

Wow..thats another great news..You will be receiving your GREEN CARD soon...Congrats! I was thinking that maybe OURS will be next....I'm looking at your timeline and I think we filed on the same time...I have just checked my case at the USCIS site and still theres no update yet....

thank you! I can't wait til I get my hands on that AP lol hubby and I have been separated for almost 3 months now because he's stationed in japan..I'm flying there asap after the does my travel arrangements

Our update:

We decided to do the full medical again after receiving RFE for I-693. We sent I-693 transcribed by CS with our AOS -- one possible reason for RFE we could think of is that my husband only had chest x-ray but no TB skin test during medical in the Netherlands (or they lost our medical). So we did the full medical (I think it was about 180, no additional vaccinations), and responded to RFE end of December.

January 11 -- they received our RFE.

January 22 -- EAD approved

February 2 - EAD card received in mail

(we did not apply for AP)

Our interview is scheduled for March 8.

the chest x-ray is so much better than a TB test anyway,

it's a more definite diagnostic
