Ok... So November has started... Time for some approvals!!! My hubby is heading to Naples tomorrow and has his medical on Tuesday and Interview on Wednesday!!! We're getting excited here... Hopefully others will have good news this week too!!!

10/14/2000 - Met Aboard a Cruise ship

06/14/2003 - Married Savona Italy

I-130

03/21/2009 - I-130 Mailed to Chicago lockbox

11-30-09: GOT GREEN CARD in mail!!!!!!

Citizenship Process;

1/11/2013: Mailed N400 to Dallas Texas

3/11/2013: interview.. Approved

4/4/2013. : Oath! Now a U.S. citizen!

TIMELINE I-130

June 29, 2009 - sent packet I-130

July 9, 2009 - received NOA1 (thanks God)

Sept. 9, 2009 - received approval email from USCIS thru CRIS

Sept. 14, 2009 - NOA2 hardcopy received by husband

Sept. 18, 2009 - case number assigned (NVC process starts)

Nov. 4, 2009 - CASE COMPLETE @NVC!

Nov. 13, 2009 - interview date assigned by NVC

DEC. 10, 2009 AT 6:30AM

re scheduled DECEMBER 1, 2009- INTERVIEW - white slip (passport and medical results from st. luke

Dec 14, 2009 - VISA received

Dec 21, 2009 - USA arrival (POE - San francisco)

Jan. 6, 2010 - SSN received

Jan. 7, 2010 - 2 years GC received

The best of luck to you Christeen on the interview, its almost over im sure you are very excited. A long journey but worth it in the end. Keep us posted.

My wife has her interview on Thursday :) I probably wont sleep at all during her interview time.

Ooooh, drama alert!!! To add a bit of suspense to the mix... My husband had a flight today from Genoa to Naples... Today, when he got to the airport, it was closed because of bad weather... CLOSED... no flights... There was a bunch of chaos and pissed off people and they had come police on alert in case of fights!!! My husband, the ever calm and patient one (kind of like Yoda with and Italian accent and smaller ears...lol..) just patiently waited to talk to someone... His patience seems to have paid off...

So they lady gave him a flight out of Milan and a pass for him to take the shuttle to Milan... Others who were running around crazy and angry were not given them... So now, my hubby is in Milan Linate and booked on a flight to Naples leaving at 7PM... If the fog grounds the planes there, then he said he will rent a car and do the 10 hour drive... So come wind, rain or fog, he will make his medical appointment tomorrow.... What a trooper!!!

Me... I'd have been a nervous wreck by now but luckly my husband and always the calm and collected one!!!! I will keep you posted on the drama!!

Like a telenovela!!

My wife's interview was scheduled for 37 minutes ago in Manila. I'm going crazy here waiting for news. She met a friend here on VJ whose interview started 7 minutes ago, so she's probably waiting for her to finish before she leaves there. Just waiting for now... :whistle:

It takes 8 months for us to see each other back again since we started our visa process, and now here we are reunited back again and happy together.

We had a November interview , but it got moved up to October, and we all know how that turned out, LOL

I have to laugh, or I will cry.
