The 0800 line can tell you nothing you dont already know... as your case was transfered to CSC it is likely that you will get approved without interview so you wont need an EAD.... I bet you get your approval notice real soon.... you could do a search for others that have been transfered to CSC (there are many) to see what the time frame is like....

Good Luck

Kezzie

dont worry about that. That is just a standard anwser they put down. My wife's case was transfer to CSC at end of may, they said the time would take between 280 and 300 days. My wife's AOS was approved on July 11. It was only 6 weeks for approval.

Just relax and by sept you should be approve and have your green card in your hands before you know it..

Don't worry.....it only took us about a month from when we got transferred to CSC until we got approved. I know there are alot of people who it took alot longer -- and many who are still waiting -- but, I would not put too much into the wait time the "hotline" is telling you.

Pardon my ignorance: what is the difference when CSC handles the case vs. any other place?
