Hi Niraj,

Thanks for your explaination. However, I have 1 question related to 90 days requirement. I got my citizenship on Nov 16th, 2009. Since Oct 1st, 2008, I am staying in Mumbai ( travelled to USA approx 45 days in the entire 2009 year ). So, am I eligible to file in Delhi for my wife ? Do I need to file for IR-1/CR-1 or K-3 ?

Delhi embassy is not giving proper response to my email. It says I have to prove my residence. Can u shed some light ?

I am going back to Mumbai in 2 weeks and would like to file from Delhi after registering at FRRO office..

Rgds

Sridhar
