Hey you guys,

Well we're almost ready to file - yay :dance:

Visa Journey has been a huge help to us in preparing the AOS package and we really appreciate all of your help :thumbs:

We wondered if any of you could look over our overall contents page and see if we're missing anything?

We're also going to make separate contents pages based on this one - for the I-130 folder and the I-485 folder.

NATURE OF THE SUBMISSION: Adjustment of Status - Original submission of Form I-130 filed concurrently with Form I-485

Dear USCIS,

Please find enclosed form I-485 (and it’s supporting documents and forms.) The I-485 form is filed by ALIEN whose eligibility is based on her immediate US Citizen relative (Spouse). The marriage between Mr. and Mrs. ******* took place on Saturday October 24th 2009 and an I-130 (and it’s supporting documents) is being filed concurrently with this I-485. Please find below a list of contents for all forms and documents submitted.

I-130 folder contains:

o $355 Personal Check – required filing fee

o Form I-130

o Copy of US Citizen's Birth Certificate

o Copy of Alien's Birth Certificate

o Certified copy of Marriage certificate

o G-325A Biographic Form for USC

o Passport Photo of USC

o G-325A Biographic Form for Alien

o Passport Photo of Alien

o Evidence of Bonafide Marriage:

ß Affidavits

ß Letter from Bank of joint account

ß 2 Joint Credit cards

ß Photos

I-485 folder contains:

o $1010 Personal Check – required filing fee

o Form I-485

o Copy of Alien’s passport biographic page and passport cover

o Copy of all of Alien’s I-94 and I-94 extensions (front and back); including current valid I-94 extension

o Copy of Alien’s employment completion agreement for her most recent H2B visa contract – showing she completed her employment contract and has rehire status. Plus a paystub showing Alien was still working and in status during October – the last month of her contract.

o Copy of H2B visa

o Copy of Alien’s Birth Certificate

o Photo copy of certified Marriage certificate

o G-325A Biographical form for Alien

o 2 passport photos of Alien

o I-693 – Medical Examination & vaccination history – sealed by the Civil Surgeon

o I-864 – Affidavit of Support from USC plus his:

ß 2008 tax return

ß 2008 W2

ß Letter from employer

ß 6 months of pay stubs

o I-765 – Application for Employment Authorization for Alien; plus:

ß 2 passport style photos

ß Photocopy of Marriage certificate

ß Copy of passport biographic page

ß Copy of I-94 and I-94 extensions

ß Copy of completion agreement for last H2B visa contract

ß Copy of H2B visa

o I-131 – Application for Travel Document for Alien; plus:

ß A supplement for I-131 explaining eligibility and reasons for requesting Advance Parole Travel Document

That looks great! I went through our cover letters and compared them with yours and ours almost match except for the H2B visa information :star:

I keep checking our packages and looking at lists online to see if we have everything... I hope so!

Our checks are $355 for the I-130 and $1010 for the I-485... The I-131 and I-765 don't need checks as they're part of the I-485 package... hope I got this right...

10/21/09: Checks for I-130 and I-485 cashed

10/23/09: Received rejection notice for I-765 (Used outdated version of form, duh)

10/24/09: Received NOAs for I-130 and I-485

10/26/09: Resent updated I-765

10/28/09: RFE for I-485

11/02/09: Received RFE letter for I-864

11/05/09: Sent RFE back and received Biometrics appointment for 11/19 (I-485)

11/09/09: Received NOA for I-765 (finally!)

11/11/09: RFE received, case resumed

11/19/09: Biometrics done for I-485 (and I-765 without appointment letter!) - both touched PM

12/03/09: EAD card production ordered

12/07/09: EAD received

12/10/09: Received an e-mail saying I-765 was approved.... a little late!

12/11/09: Received interview appointment letter: January 11th, 8:40am

01/11/10: APPROVED at interview!

01/19/10: Green card received (It's not green.)

Yep we're in for a long wait :wacko:

But at least we're not alone - it's great there's a discussion board on here...

I think we may be one of the first November filers... We're shooting for tomorrow... :dance:

Thank you!!! It's on it's way to the USCIS... :dance: we just took it to the Mail Center and fed-exed it.. It's going to hopefully be in Chicago tomorrow afternoon...

Now I can't wait till the tracking starts working - prob this evening... So I can follow it! lol! :thumbs:
