You've come to far to be disappointed now. Keep the faith Beth. Don't let everything you have done to get your hubby here go in vain. You got this! Just when you think all hope is lost, you will see you way through this! I know all of us will go into heavy duty prayer mode for you! I know you must be mentally drainned especially after being grilled for 3 hours and having to return on your own but This too shall pass.... Stay strong and positive!!! omg I am so sorry this is what you 2 had to go though - and is insane - we too got the grilling - is so wrong and is more wrong they are playing with people lives like this :angry:

THEY did keep passport - so is good sign - prayers are with you - don't let them beat you - love ya - will be ok - and will work out

I am so very sorry to hear your news. Hang in there, it can`t be much longer before they`ll contact you/your husband. I have been thorough this path already so I know it is not easy but I have a feeling that good news is around the corner for you.

08/22/09: Married on beautiful Mackinac Island, MI

10/21/09 Received EAD card

12/7/09 AOS APPROVED!

12/14/09: Green Card arrived in mail. Happy Days!

It's taken 18 months from applying for K1 to receipt of Green Card! Thank God it's over until 12/7/11

Ah paris...

That's a drag BUT it does sound pretty positive -- why else would they have kept his passport if they weren't going to slap a visa in it at some point, right? No other reason as they have no jurisdiction to hold someone's passport, do they?

Not that this helps but I suppose your journey, though bumpy, will be all the more joyous when it's over. and it will be over soon and he'll be home.

I haven't read through all of the responses, but they must have given something. Did they give you a 221g? If yes, then what was marked and what was the notes? Please don't be too down, it might be something simple that will be quickly resolved.
