Do you think adjudicators actually follow the guidelines?

My fiance had a juvenile offense of letting air out of some guy's tires at age 17, (we're 36 now) we have no proof of it and its not on his police ACPO from England which we have for our interview Tuesday, according to the section 212, anything under 18 and within 5 years before filing immigration papers the offenses do not count from what I gather. Do you think the adjudicator at the interview will follow the rules on this or do the make up their own rules as they go along just depending. I'm stewing away of course over this.

I've read a few stories on Vj of juvenile offenses being talked about at the interview, but being put aside.

One I specifically recall was a guy who stole a sweater. It was discussed at the interview but that's about it.

Does his report say "no trace" or "no live trace". If it says "no trace" then it's not even going to be mentioned.

He did notate on his form if he had ever been convicted of a offense, which was vandalism from the tire air-letting but was a juvenile so it has since been stepped down on the record. Soooo I donno....I know he's gonna tell them but I'm hoping it wont be a big deal. I'm just freaking out and I know i'm probably being silly.

I remember reading your posts. Did he try to get a copy of the record or not?

We tried the subject access form route but it hasn't come in yet. Otherwise no records of it. We asked about it also, and was told it probably wont even be on that either. Thanks, I think I feel a bit better about it now, thank goodness for doing my homework on the immigration and naturalization act. Supposedly London's a piece of cake anyways, so we'll see. Everyone's gonna know if we get approved on Tuesday anyways lol...I'm just a nervous wreck and cant stop stewing over it and people/family/work are getting a big annoyed at me right now! hehehe.

I'll be watching for it. I think you'll be ok. I remember telling the fiancee' of the 'sweater boy' that it might be an issue but it wasn't at all. I was happy to be wrong on that one.
