Hi all,

Just called NVC, they told me that my case was received, but is now under udministrative review. I have seen cases leaving NVC fast and some stay for a long time. Anyone know what's the reason or someone else in the same situation?

Hey Mike

Administrative processing is normal from what I read. I have been there from July 12.

Most timelines show 2-3 weeks there

BTW just called them again and they told me that I am out of processing and my case has been sent to Moscow!!!!!!

I would call again tomorrow.

I actually called 4 times today.

At least the last 2 answers were the same - off to Moscow!

Yeah I will be calling in a week or so to follow up. I just called them again to get my new case number, I hope this administrative stuff will not take long.

She is from Omsk, Russia.

AR is such a catch-all term that it can be anything from additional security checks to validating something filled in on a document...

According to one immigration lawyer who toured NVC: "NVC performs a limited number of SAOs on applicants meeting specific criteria. Completion time varies on a case-by-case basis. "

Unfortunately, the reason will probably not be shared and the duration is unknown.
