Name change on AOS, but all documents are in maiden

Changing name to married name (husband's last name), but all govt documents (passport, visa, birth certificate, etc) are in maiden name. Even marriage certificate shows maiden name.

Can we still apply for AOS in married name?

The marriage certificate (showing name change) would be your proof of name change; I would think it needs to show married name in order to be official. Did you not have that option?

check out your state's "name change" laws/procedures... in some states it is done on the marriage certificate... other states you do a couple other things (SSA, DMV), once the name change is done then you are good to go... check out what your state does....

The marriage certificate shows your maiden name and you husband's name. You are changing to your husband's name. No problem. Apply for the AOS in the name you want to use

Yes, attach that to your I-485 with everything else. When you get your green card, take the green card and marriage certificate to the SS adminstration, DMV , or wherever and have those names changed also
