USPS trying to screw me up

Boy, I am pissed!!

I overnighted my DS-230 package yesterday and was told/guranteed that it would be delivered there by noon. The last activity per track and confirm .."Arrival at Unit, October 30, 2009, 11:07 am, PORTSMOUTH, NH 03801"...These dang USPS folks haven't delivered the package yet. I was hoping to catch the 2nd week of the month interview schedule but I see my hopes slowly fading....

2009-09-30 -> I-129 Approved

2009-09-30 -> I-130 Approved

-------NVC----------

2009-10-14 -> NVC Received

2009-10-15 -> Received/Sent DS-3032

2009-10-15 -> Received/Paid I-864 Bill

2009-10-19 -> Send I-864 Packet

2009-10-26 -> NVC Received DS-3032

2009-10-28 -> Receive/Pay IV Bill Pay

2009-10-29 -> Send DS-230 (Overnight)

2009-10-30 -> NVC Received (DS-230) 11:00 AM

2009-11-03 -> NVC Entered DS-230 in system.

2009-11-09 -> Received email requesting DS-230....

2009-11-12 -> Log in to Consular Electronic App Center failed!!

2009-11-13 -> Case complete

2010-01-12 -> Rescheduled from [2010-01-25] Interview [Approved]

2010-01-14 -> Pick up passport.

2010-01-17 -> Depart

IME, the USPS updates are not instant.

So it's possible that it'll get there by noon-ish...

May I ask a question?

Did you get 'delivery confirmation' or 'signature on delivery' ?

And - did you have it delivered to the normal PO BOX or the Courier Address?

From what I've read here on VJ - if you had it 'signature on delivery' to the normal PO BOX - it won't be 'handled' by a human for w to 5 days...

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Right on..I learned the tracking system is not intantaneous. The package was delivered around 11:20 AM but wasn;t uploaded in USPS.com until 8:30 PM...

Glad it was delivered on time...."sigh"

Also, I like to officially apologize to USPS. Good folks working there.....They stand by there words is what I learned..
