First response from Congresswoman

Timeline

I wrote my congresswoman re: the delays and the frustrations over IMBRA and CSC yesterday (7/18/06) and today I received a response. Although it is just an automatic response and probably no one actually read my email, it is good that at least there is someone at the other end. Here is what the message read:

Thank you for contacting the Office of U.S. Representative Grace

Napolitano. If you included your mailing address in your message, and

you

are a member of the 38th district of California, you will receive a

response. Unfortunately, we cannot reply to email from outside of the

38th

district of California. If you would like to contact our office,

please

call 202-225-5256, fax to 202-225-0027, or visit our website at

www.napolitano.house.gov for more options.

Hopefully I will get a response in the mail soon. At the speed CSC is moving I will probably get a response from her before I hear anything from them (will probably hear from my senator too--I wrote her also).

Has anyone actually gotten a response from their congress rep after contacting them re: CSC and IMBRA?

You probably won't get anywhere with writing an email - follow these instructions for better luck:
