Mornin VJ! I am super duper feeling good today! I got my certification and am on my way to what I hope is a relaxing weekend. They are getting few and far between here.

Me too, but it is nothing concrete as of yet.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

07/28/11 USCIS cashed check

07/30/11 Recieved NOA1 and Biometrics letter

08/24/2011 Biometrics

08/25/2011 RFE sent to us for some info we've already sent in

08/30/2011 sent in the rest of info USCIS asked for

09/13/2011 went to congressman's office to sign papers for expedite of work permit, due to financial hardship

09/15/2011 Work permit expedite approved!! He can finally find a job!

09/24/2011 work permit arrives

09/26/2011 Apply for social security number!

09/30/2011 Letter is sent for interview

11/07/2011 INTERVIEW!!!

Its 2012 and still no approval! Still waiting

01/27/2012 Letter sent stating that file was sent on for more review :(

Happy Halloween even though it's tomorrow! I love halloween but just wish hubby wasn't working double shifts all weekend. I have a slew of scarey movies set up to watch starting with the Shining. I"ve never seen it so I hope it lives up to the hype! :dance::dance::dance:

Megan is a ladybug and Emily is a gypsie. I don't feel comfy posting their pics here but if I can snag a couple when they're offguard (they HATE their pic taken) I'll post them on facebook. I have to get candy still! I have been holding off since everyone always eats half of it before it even starts. lol. Just kind of bummed that I can't eat any but I can do the lollipops so I guess I"ll get some of those.

Hubby's looking for a new job since the nice summertime rush is gone and other than the big holidays it's probably going to stay slow here. He just has to finally schedule his CNA test and then he can work at the nursing home across the street which inshallah will be very convenient and nice. One of my bff's works there so hopefully she can give him some pull once he goes back with his certificate. Most of the homes that I deal with hire the CNA's before they're certified but of course the one he wants doesnt. Oh well such is life.

Doing paperwork this weekend that I've neglected for months, watching scarey movies and making "dirt and worms" for the kids. Actually it's more for my nostalgia...it's hard watching them grow up. :crying::crying::crying:

Happy Friday MENA!!

I am gearing up to go shopping today..my daughter is in town to throw a Halloween party for my son and his friends, I am just happy she isn't going to have it at my house!! I don't know if I can stand a bunch of 12 and 13 yr old boys running around!! :wacko: Plus our neighborhood isn't the greatest for trick or treaters so we are going to my mom's neighborhood for that!! I think she just wants to relive her childhood :thumbs:

Our neighborhood is hit or miss. (does anyone remember the store Hit or Miss? lol) Last year I got one trick or treater and the year before that we went through 8 bags of candy. Our town has a lot of shaving cream fights though so it's not a good idea to go driving around. :P

i have yet to have one Halloween where I either had trick or treaters OR I was able to just stay home and hand out candy.

My sister is bringing my neice up our way to go out with my 10 year old.

On a sour note....guess who is not able to go to their daughter's Halloween parade?? :angry:

Lexy's Halloween Parade around the school was cancelled cuz of da rain..bummer. I get to to trick-or-treating tommorrow with them so I hope it clears up.

Hey Jas! It's payday!

1 1/2 hours til I sign the lease and pick up the keys. I wont have tv/internet for awhile~~I can catch up on some books I have been meaning to read!

Work is awesome~~next week I get to measure a juvenile detention center for flooring. Has to be better than the funeral home :P
