I was wondering if I actually must send in a G-325A for my fiance and do I really need to send in passport-style photograph of my fiance? I don't have these and I just left her country? She can't turn these in during her interview? please help me. Thank you.

Yes, you actually must. You need to send in EVERYTHING they ask for. There is no exceptions here, and you must remember that immigration makes the rules and what they expect. We don't get to decide. You better have your fiance go get passport pics taken somewhere that she lives and send to you. Also you need to fill out ALL the proper paperwork for her. I even needed to send my fiance the papers requiring her to sign her name, and even though it was only a few papers, I needed to send them fed ex and have her send them back the same way, just so I could include them with our I-129F. Good Luck!

I agree with JanetandLyle. You must send in the G-325A and 2 passport photos for your fiancee.

I agree but why TWO passport photos?

I agree but why TWO passport photos?

Opps. Yes, it only requires one passport photo.

Form your fiance(e) you MUST have...signed fiancee letter of intent and passport photos. NOW, since she MUST send these to you I suggest she also send a signed BLANK G-325a form (two are better) Then YOU fill them out. ONLY ONE person should ever touch a form in this process (except to sign them) and that should be the US citizen or someone the US citizen pays to do this.

It is possible to submit an unsigned G-325a with a letter requesting your fiancee be allowed to sign at the interview AND a copy of the USCIS internal memo specifically allowing this but SINCE she has to send you photos and letter of intent anyway (or even just the photos) then send the signed, blank G-325a. You can fill it it out by hand, with pen, just print neatly

When she goes for her passport photo, have them take about 15. Not one, not two...fifteen. You will need them before it is over. You will only need to sdend one with the I-129f

I'm not advising this, but the same USCIS memo says that RFEs should not be issued for failure to submit the beneficiary's photos if the beneficiary is residing abroad: http://www.uscis.gov/files/pressrelease/I1...325A_110105.pdf

Improved USCIS Form G-325A (Biographic Information)

Form field input font changed to allow entry of dates in the specified format and to provide more space for addresses and employment history. This is the 6/12/09 version of the form; the current version is 8/8/11, but previous versions are accepted per the USCIS forms page.

Keep in mind though, they DO say the photos cannot be older than 6 months so by the time comes to use them all it might be passed that timeline :) I guess you could say they have no way of checking timestamps and whatnot but when dealing with USCIS it's always best to do what they ask :)

My photos were stamped on the back with the date and location. Not that it is necessary, but it's one less risk of RFE. Id rather be overzealous in this process than chance it.

AND, you really need to send in a letter of intent with her original signature on it.

Following rules is the pits for sure.

is it possible that she fill out the G-325A by herself and sign them then send everything to me or do I have to fill it out for her then send it? I Would also like to know how long it usually takes to send something from the Philippines to the US.

You both need your own G-325A's to fill out.... If you are doing the paperwork, the forms should be sent to you - signed meaning she should sign her own and you sign your own.
