Shouldn't we be seeing more touches and approvals?

I see very few touches, I see very few approvals, including new and older petitions and recalled cases. So I ask myself, what in the hell are they doing?

I know we're only a small portion of k1 petitions in the various service centers, but c'mon, it's just a bit odd that most haven't even been touched in weeks.

Atleast VSC is approving even though there is no order to it...but like i said atleast Vermont is approving unlike California who are just doing nothing

I was thinking the same thing myself. I have no idea what is going on the VSC. I guess they are just behind maybe. I sent my RFE on July 12th and no word yet that they recieved it and i just got off the phone with VSC i aksed them if they recieved my RFE he said no and if i don't see that it has been recieved by August 22nd then its best for me to call them back after August 22nd to inquiry about them recieving my RFE. now before they told me to call back in 30 days now its 60 days total so i don't know what going on here. Good luck with the all the waiting i think we could all use some luck here.

its funny too because so little is being said about this even though it is affecting many people it amazes me that there hasn't been an upfront apology or answer to what is going on.. I wonder if all other petitions are hindered in CSC and VSC due to the problems they are having? Not sure.. I know someone needs to call them out on this and get it in the open .

VSC isn't working all that fast. I see very few, scattered approvals and very few touches. It's like they pulled the plug on the touch machine

There is no reason under the sun that they could give for not starting to move forward NOA2s that would make sense to all of waiting.

The only possible explanation that I can think of is that there has been a decision to handle all IMBRA RFEs and IMBRA related issues prior to going to work on the growing stack of petitions.

The reason they havent given out any official answers or been made to answer for their total lack of professionalism, is that we are a such a small fraction of the population that it doesnt really affect them. The only way to get things moving is for all of us to keep on our senators and congressman. Not even sure that will work but as I see it that is our only recourse!!!!!

Well honestly i have never been able to tell when i have been *touched* and a friend of mine who is at the end of this process never showed being *touched* so dont count on that.

10,000 a small number? I guess it is how you look at it.. with illegal immigration being such a hot subject right now I would think people that are stuck trying to immigrate legally would be a huge topic.. but I guess that is me thinking and might be why I am not a congressman or senator. You would think though that the senators and congressmen would be all over this.. great PR .. I mean 10,000 votes can sure sway an election.. Not to mention word travels fast.. I have definitely passed on the lack of entuisiasm of my congressman on my issue to friends and family..

Remembering we´re a small fraction of the petitions at VSC, if you do a timeline search there are at least one approval from VJ a day. Some days we have 3 or 4. The approvals ARE coming, even if they seem slow.

Honestly, I have been increasingly thinking that this might be a story for the news to cover. We need something to get a buzz in the community or the powers that be engaged in the inefficiencies at the CSC location because right now they are like a deer in headlights.

I beg to differ though .. all petitions since March 6 are held up? Plus VSC had alot of recalled petitions.. this is alot bigger then it seems.. In my mind.

Does anyone have any contacts at the Washington Post or New York Times so we can pitch a story? One well placed article can spur a lot of reaction and folks jumping to attention. Many o' government agencies have had to change their tune after a media spotlight was put on them.

Also, with this being an election year, politicos would jump on the outrage wagon if there were enough sob stories.
