Hello! I'm leaving for the US soon. I would like to know what will they do the moment I step off the plane? Will they really check everything???

Thanks in advance! :)

Bcause you are moving to america yes its very likely they will check everything, generally airports do anyways. Dont forget to have 6$ USD for paper processing at POE.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

I am a Citizen of the United States of America. 04/16/13

I dont know where is your POE, but mine was San francisco... and yeah, they will check everything about the immigration paperwork and stuff, you will have your finger printed and picture taken..those fun stuff hehe but i dont remember nothing about paying 6 bucks for the paper processing ( i didnt pay a penny, thats what i remember). And yeah, some of the people have all their luggages checked, i remember there was this poor guy, he had to took every single thing out of his luggage, he look so pissed hehe.. but you gotta do what you gotta do. Oh i never had to get thru that luggage check though, after done with the immigration officer, grabbed my luggages and out! but just be prepared ok? have a safe trip!

The wait would be unbearable but it'll be worth it. It strengthens the love, it attaches you even more to each other, it shows how your man would do whatever it takes to be with you, that he will never give up on you because he LOVES you!! All the waits, stresses, tears, heartaches, all the miserable feelings you feel along the way will be paid off once you get what you've been hoping for...oh and WITHOUT PRAYERS? will be like trying to start a fire with water, JUST WON'T WORK!

Um, no and no.

Every POE is different, and your mileage may vary. When my fiancee came in on her K-1 (3 weeks ago tomorrow!), Washington Dulles was our POE. She was not sent to secondary inspection, nor were our bags inspected.

As for this six dollars for "paper processing at POE," I've never heard of such a thing.

Improved USCIS Form G-325A (Biographic Information)

Form field input font changed to allow entry of dates in the specified format and to provide more space for addresses and employment history. This is the 6/12/09 version of the form; the current version is 8/8/11, but previous versions are accepted per the USCIS forms page.

$6 payment is typically for Canadians (at least at land border crossings), as they normally do not get an I-94 and must pay if they need one...

Whatever! People go thru the POE that they have to go thru. By this time, if POE takes an extra hour, that will be soon forgotten when the two lovers are reunited again. Try to feel the love!

This is nearly verbatim from an attorney whom I consulted when my then-fiancee was about to enter: "The agents at POE can ask the immigrant anything that the consulate asked, but they usually don't ask as much, because they figure that a K-1 entrant was already put through the grinder by the consulate." As is said above, POEs differ, and your mileage may vary, si man.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
