Hello everyone,

After getting the NOA2, I promptly started working on getting the forms and evidence required for my fiance's interview. The dates are below:

I-129F NOA2 : 2009-09-29

NVC Received : 2009-10-16

NVC Left : 2009-10-19

The USE in Manila should of received the packet by now, but my fiance has not received anything from them yet. I am assuming that the interview will be sometime in December.

With that, I prepared all the forms for her before my trip there last week. So the forms, proof of income, and phone bills are all dated up to 10/15/09.

My fiance is now getting the CENOMAR, Birth Certificate, NBI and Passport now.

If the interview is in December, then would any of these be too old?

Thanks for any input,

-Charlie

Have her get a couple NSO BCs. She may need them later in the US.

Charlie, my personal experience was as follow:

when we learned NVC approved and send package to Brazil we started to ask for the new Reference number [in our case RDJXXXXXXXX - Rio de Janeiro]. We learned in another community that we could skip the mailing and processing for package 3 and 4.. So what we did [i mean my fiancee] email the embassy in rio with our new reference number looking for an update on our status. The first time, they answer they have not recieved, two days later my fiancee send another request and the very next day she got the interview date. And we started to prepare.. We had a little over a month to prepare from the day of he email..

Good Luck.
