National customer service center :( not very helpfull and understanding

I just them again to find out where my rfe has got too. It is now day 26 and still no rfe. The guy told me that i have to wait 30 days. I knew that already but come on let common sense prevail here. It is 26 days its not going to arrive on sunday:(( 30th day). I know what they want and have the tax forms to prove that we are over the 125% poverity level. The only thing i left out was 2004 and 2005 tax returns as we didnt have them. My mistake but i thought a letter explaining that my wife lived in ireland for the last 2 and a half years.

I didnt screw up here, the stupid post office did. They didnt communicate when they changed postal staff so my details werent updated. The rfe was prob sent back as they are trained to do that.

Thanks to them it will add 40+ days to the process for me by the time i get the rfe again. Who knows now when i will get my greencard. Sometime in november is my guess. Accord to USCIS i have to call again on monday and then they will send it out again. What a joke. What other company runs their business like this. The infopass was a waste of time.Nobody will help.

I am worried because i have read some horrer stories where people who didnt get their letters from immigration, then low and behold they get a letter telling them to leave the country and they have to start the whole process again. I feel so sorry for anyone that this has happened to them. I may be emotional right now but if this happens to me we are moving back to ireland. We cannot afford to live like paupers for another 6 months surviving on one wage.

Dont know why you bother phoning the MISS-INFORMATION line I would have made an infopass appointment and sorted it out.... hope you get it soon... but dont be suprised if when you phone on monday you are told we will sent it allow another 30 days....

The problem is that i went to an infopass already and they werent able to do anything. They told me to write to Lees' summit which i did and i havent heard anything back. That was 10 days ago. The immigration officer told me that i would get a prompt response from them which i havent. I have my biometrics on monday for my EAD so i should i arrange for another infopass meeting then.

If the letter you wrote was only delivered on July 12 then you need to give them time to reply... it is only just 1 week since they got it... allowing for the weekend and the mail it could well be on its way to you as wee speak...

Lets hope so. I would be over the moon if indeed it comes before monday.
