Bitter / Sweet Week from Montreal

This morning I read a posting from lgg , Let me tell you lgg .....it was heart wrenching but very truthful...... and I feel for you. :crying:

I do know exactly how you feel as I too have been waiting with a completion date in mid July for a CR1 and yes it feels like Montreal has forgotten the CR1's.

I generally do not write in here...... I leave any of that to my hubby, I find it depressing to even come on anymore. I agree with you, I'm extremely happy for the K1's that pop through so quickly but at the same time I have to say I'm "ALOT" green with envy.. after all I know my husband and are already are in love (not getting to know each other) but yet were kept apart .... and to watch other's jump ahead feels like someone is ripping out my a piece of my heart each month.

Here another month coming up and once again we sit waiting for the bitter-sweet days leading up to the interview hand out week..... because like you we watch people with their excitement and joy only to have our's not happen once again......and the people in other countries can't compare themselves to us waiting on Montreal. (It's so slow)

I want to stand on someone's desk in my heels,,,, stomping  ,,,,,,until someone gives us an answer as to"""""" WHY """""""" :bonk:

I hope the CR1's on VJ from June/July and Aug. get a chance before the new year to feel what all the excitement and joy is about.

Sorry for the lengthy blah blah blah ...........................Good Luck All  ...... no offence to anyone I wish everyone a speed journey.

just try to hold on for a little bit you will get your good news soon, my case with nvc should be complete by mid november, then the real waiting game begin's, I just don't know why it takes montreal so long to schedule the CR-1 folks, the K's are flying by us at supersonic speed. Hopefully they will resolve this issue at the embassy.

P.S not here to offend the K filer's congrat's on speedy journy

According to my Senator and Congressman it was caused by the "restructuring" of manpower, etc. They agree it is a bad answer  and have both agreed to try to get Vancouver reopened for CR-1. Of course, everything in government moves slow so it won't happen for us but maybe things will be better for those coming after us.

The state department doesn't like being told what to do by another branch. That is why I have written the DOS and Secretary Clinton directly. Noise needs to be made. Write!

My heart goes out to you. I am afraid the Abu Dhabi embassy is quickly becoming a mirror of the Canadian model, and because of this I may have to try and have my embassy switched. I wish you all the best of luck getting an interview; this process is beyond hellish.
