Hello everyone!

I have attached a list of the translators that have been approved by the consulate in Casablanca. I hope I did it correctly because I've never started a topic, let alone attach a document. lol

There are also translators in other cities! Which is helpful for those that may have to travel for everything.

Good luck to everyone still waiting on their loved ones!

So if the translator is not on this list ..... the translations that have already been done will not be accepted???? there were no translators listed in my So city.. he has one that is certified and we have all the stamps and signature that are required.....

Just one more thing for me to worry about ..... we have already sent one document translated with our I129f.... still waiting on our NOA2!!!

Thanks for the listings just in case we need to change ....

From what the consulate told me it has to be one of the translators on the list. Majid is going to go to one of the translators when he goes to Casablanca for his medical appointment. What in your 129 pkg needed to be translated?

Approved doctors and now approved translators. I am not sure my fiance use one of the approved translaotrs. But they had no problem with his translations. I think most men are going to go to the nearest translator that can translate english. There is some cities that do not have english translators, so some men will have to travel to even have this done. How was you able to get the consulate to let you know this info, when i call they never seem to want to help with anything.

I have called them and they were very helpful. I spoke with a gentleman who went over everything with me when the packet was never received by my fiance. The rest of my correspondence with them has been via email. I have to say, they have been very helpful. I'm sorry you haven't had a good experience with them . :(

They offered to send me the letter, and they attached the medical instructions. They also attached the list of approved translators. When I spoke to the gentleman on the phone, he told me Majid would have to use one of the approved translators to not cause delays. He mentioned picking up the forms required, getting everything translated, and doing the medical all in one trip because Majid lives about 5 hours from Casa.

For us personally, we will follow their instructions to a "t". All the preparations seem overwhelming until you actually start doing it...then its pretty simple! :D

Norie, what happened with your case? Have you heard anything yet?

Have a great day everyone!

I just happened across this thread.... when my faince got his instructons/packet in the mail, there was nothing said about using 'specific approved translators". Has anyone else noticed this? Wondering if anyone got something saying it has to be on the list or not. Thanks!
