hi all, i just want some advice... my husband came here may of 2009. He still has difficulty adjusting. I don't know what to do if he misses home or what. As I am busy with work, he stays at home and still looking for a job. Since no one has been calling him, it seems he is very depressed.

hi

the first few weeks since i arrived here,i wanted to go home. I was very homesick, its kind of tough really specially when i been very close to my family back in PI. It was a heartache for my husband to hear from me that i wanted to go home,he understand though.

But i was still here :D,i keep thinking of my husband that hes the reason why i am here and you know it works and as time passes by i learned to endure.

Buy your husband a phone so he could communicate with his relatives in PI and a computer too. Or buy him anything that will keep him busy in a while say a book or a guitar.

I, too pray hard. You know it works too. I hope that he may find job soon.

:D

Three of the most important things in a man’s life are wine, women and recreation. So get yourselves a wine cooler for the merlot and chardonnay and stock up on Corona and Dos Equis. Then, subscribe to a premium channel that air skin flicks. Lastly, get him some fishing tackle and a set of Callaway clubs; he’ll be free and at ease in the great outdoors.

Disclaimer: These are my husband’s ideas and not mine!

Staying busy and being productive would be so good for him. Even a job restocking store shelves might be good for him. If he is having trouble finding a job maybe a vocational program at a community college would be good.
