I think I received mine from VSC in February and was due to apply for ROC in March.

Didn't do it until June though...whoops!

Now waiting for my approval to show up.....

i got a question , I heard that lately they send out reminder letters to people who have to apply for ROC ,

I was wondering if anyone knows when they usualy send it out ??

( I know not everyone recieved one but was curiouse as to the time frame on how long before you have to aply did people get the reminder in mail ?

My greencard expires in Feb of 2010 and I just received a reminder from them last week.

here's my share of the story.

I filed AR11, got notice for that under my name (with "c/o hubbys name"), mailed to my new address. Then 2 weeks later i got a Reminder Letter mailed to my first address (in-laws house).

Maybe they really mail it to your first address? Somebody please correct me on this.

btw, my timeframe: about to submit supposedly on nov.25 (gc expires feb25), but will not be able to. Got reminder letter 4th week October.

I did Ar 11 on line for the 3 immigrants living in my house, hubby got his reminder letter to the old address. Boys are eligible to remove conditions starting Dec, there reminder letter also went ot old address. Mail man knows us so it made it as forwarding is over

Seems like a reminder letter is a common thing now? I didn't get one but if they sent it then it probably went to my old address, even though we moved around the time I got my conditional green card. Oh yeah, they sent my conditional green card to my old address even though I had filed both change of address forms, luckily we'd kept the mailbox key for an extra week since our mail forwarding had not yet kicked in. That could have been bad. Why do they do that?

thats what I'm wondering too why do they do that ,

whats the use on changing your adresse if they send important docs to your old adresse
