ROC Reminder letter

i got a question , I heard that lately they send out reminder letters to people who have to apply for ROC ,

I was wondering if anyone knows when they usualy send it out ??

( I know not everyone recieved one but was curiouse as to the time frame on how long before you have to aply did people get the reminder in mail ?

I received the letter October 1 and I submitted my packet October 26.

so going with your time frame , if i get a letter it would probly be around 3 weeks before roc is do to apply

if anyone else recievd a letter am curiouse to other time frames

I think I received mine from VSC in February and was due to apply for ROC in March.

Didn't do it until June though...whoops!

Now waiting for my approval to show up.....

I got mine last October 13 and my window opens in November 6.

Mine was in July... my 90 day window starts Aug. 27.

Did they send it to the address where your conditional first green card was approved and sent out to or they can send it to your current address if you have properly changed it online every time you have moved. I've heard that they send it to the address where your AOS was approved and if you don't live there anymore you don't receive it.

I received mine almost three weeks before i approached the 90 day window.

oh ok so I guess if i dont recieve it with in the next few days ( even if they send it to the old adresse i should still get it ,I get all mail forwarded by the post office from old to my new adresse )

i probly wont get one ,

but no biggy I know when i have to file was just curious , thanks everyone for the replies

today i recievd the reminder letter forwarded to my new adress from the post office ,

it was send to my old adresseby USCIS ,

I just want to make sure it wont effect my case in any way since they send the reminder to my old adresse but i will file with my new adresse and will include the copy of A11 ,

Lona dear - I was just wondering teh same thing - I haven't received one either, although I'm filing later this month.

somehow - I guess I was concerned that they don't know my new address from last year, but My husband and I got confirmations that our address changed so I guess I won't worry

heu udella nice to see you again , yes we did get the confirmation too, but find it strange that they require to file a online A 11 then still send it to the old adresse ,

but oh well am not worried will mail them a copy of our confirmation plus adresse change at the post office confirmation , when i send it with my new adresse

yes i just called he said he cant confirm the personel information over the phone ,

but since I dont have a case pending i can just send in the ROC in Nov with the new adresse and attach a copy of the AR 11 and a copy of my husbands adresse change as well ,

or i could make a info pass with the local office and confirm the adresse change ,

he said those letters are auto generated and usualy processed 45 - 60 days before they mail it out .

we moved end of may so they should have our new adresse , but am not worried will just file in NOV with the new adresse and attach the copy of change of adresse confirmation

I wouldn't worry too much.

When I received the reminder letter they sent it to the address we lived at 2 rentals ago, and we updated the new addresses with USCIS.

I think it's probably just the address the had on file from when you first did AOS.

I had no problems just sending my paperwork with our current address, and all has been sent correctly.

I know i did the AR 11 I think i also mailed mine when i mailed my husbands but am not sure ,

but like you said dont worry , am just goin to mail the whole pakage with my new adresse

your experience worked out great , so i dont see a problem when its my turn
