Are you trying to say that the October crowd aren't nice? Actually now that I think about it they do smell bad!

I think it might be us that starting to smell too ripe!!! That should be a sign that they need to boot us out of the NVC by now!!!!:thumbs::whistle:

Are you trying to say that the October crowd aren't nice? Actually now that I think about it they do smell bad!

:cry::ranting::protest:

Our timeline:

2/88: We met in Sydney, Australia at a youth hostel! He's Finnish, I'm American-both were in our early 20s at the time and fresh out of college (so couldn't afford to visit each other's countries after that!). We had a three-day romance, then went our separate ways. He actually was going to Sydney a week later, but decided at the last minute to cut his trip short in another country and go early. Wow.

1988-1998: Wrote "snail mail" letters/sent Xmas cards, but lived our separate lives. I married someone else, divorced in 2006...he lived with someone for years and then that ended.

10/08: Because of a series of random life events, I Googled my Finn Man and found him (but no link to his email, and the website his name was on was in Estonian so I couldn't even read it!). It took me two weeks to find a link to someone else, who forwarded my email to him (we were both single at the time thankfully!!!!). The email went to his spam folder but he happened to check it that day and responded back to me immediately! This was after 10 years of no contact and almost 21 years of not seeing each other after we first met.

11/08-5/09: We traveled back and forth to visit each other. Love at first (second?) sight!

7/09: Married in Helsinki, Finland...after meeting randomly 21 1/2 years ago and finding each other again!!!!!

8/13/09: I-130 sent!!!!!!!!!

Rest is on my timeline!

Hello there! We were wondering whatever happened to you and AbbilovesJeremy.

We are now at the stage of waiting for the case complete and an interview. The medical is booked, fees are paid and they acknowledge receipt of everything. We have not got emails acknowledging the DS-230 but the AVR message says so.

How are things with you?

Awww, that's very sweet, thanks ^_^

My husband and I were on holiday abroad, and we organised things so that we could continue with the process while we were away, but NVC didn't play ball, as you say over there lol...I am so disappointed that we've been delayed by a whole month for no apparent reason :( :(

When I returned home the VJ addiction seemed to have been broken, and perhaps that's not such a bad thing! I was spending far too much time on here (and the internet in general lol) and not enough on the zillion things I have to do in my every day life, and that's not taking into account an impending move to CA in the near future!!

The AOS fee was accepted yesterday, and my husband immediately sent in the I-864 - all he had to do was print off the cover sheet. The DS-3032 (email) hasn't been accepted yet, and I've sent in a paper copy as well. The way things are going, and with the holiday season looming ahead, I suppose I'll be happy if we get a case complete by Christmas. Any idea how long London are taking to schedule interviews? How did you manage to already book the medical?

Guys, my cousin is filling in form I864 as joint sponsor. He make enough to cover me, and his household. My question is: does his wife STILL need to fill in I864A if his income is sufficient? Yes or no?

And if they file taxes separately? My guess in this case is no.

What about if they file taxes jointly? My guess in this case is to go with an I864A.

I keep getting conflicting information about this and I want to give my cousin an exact list of forms to fill up at one go. If you could help me out, I'd really appreciate it.

yeah, i would check your log in after 3 and 10 eastern, like christeen always says. it is so annoying when you know it is in the building, and all they have to do is look at it and it will be completed. they should be working 24/7 this week, since they have tomorrow off <_<:jest:

If your co-sponsor is married... It is best to include an 864A from the spouse of the co-sponsor, even if they file seperatly... They have been getting REALLY particular on the financials lately because of the economy and even if they filed seperatly... in US law, the spouse is also partially responsible by default for debts... NVC wants to be certain that the spouse is aware that her husband has financially obligated her with this sponsorship.... Some will tell you that if they file seperatly that it is not necessary, however to avoid a possible RFE and delay, why not err on the side of more info rather than less.... If they file together, then definetly...
