Also, May I know what does NVC sends to the agent? My husband wants me to appoint myself as he knows I understand the process better. Are these documents being send through email or regular mail?

Thanks!

To tell yah the truth i got no idea what there gonna send cuz by the time they approve the DS-3032 you would have already printed and sent the (AOS) fourm and, they you would have printed the DS-230 and sent it so idk lol

But yah you can just send it threw FEDEX if that what you wanna do.

My DS-230 package is ready to go. Hubby's AOS--we're still waiting on him collecting tax returns, his W2, 6 months paystubs, etc.

Question re: interview--Anyone know whether we can get our original documents back during the interview? I have a 34-yr old fragile birth certificate from Vietnam that's irreplaceable...hate to lose that.

That is what the website says, that they will return it at the time of the interview, but in another breath they are saying to make sure you have a copy of the birth certificate and other paperwork just in case your package didn't make it to the embassy before your interview~

Ok so what is it they want us to make copys of?

Like all the birh certificets and stuff? And the I-864 AND DS-230?

I worried cuz realy in jordan like when they ask for the address of my husband there is not "address" its just were all the mail gose thats not were they send the case correct? they send it to the embeasy they already know its the Jordan embassy so they have the address right. LOL im having a panic attack

Good Morning from the Philippines!

Just woke up and finally got an email from NVC for the AOS bill and DS 3032.. YAY!!!!

Just to make sure, I know I told you guys that that I will email the DS3032 and send it through FedEx, since I received a DS3032 form from NVC with the barcode on top and my name printed, will it be fine just to fill it up and this is the one that I will send through FedEx?

Yep, that is the one they would prefer to have, but I used the one from the website without the barcode and just used a black marker and put the case number where the bar code should go!

Also, May I know what does NVC sends to the agent? My husband wants me to appoint myself as he knows I understand the process better. Are these documents being send through email or regular mail?

Thanks!

What ever they send to the beneficiary they will send the exact same thing to the petitioner! When choosing an agent, they is basically who wants the bill to go to. In other words, who is paying for it?? If you signed up for the emails, you will get everything through email. I haven't gotten anything through snail mail yet!

My husband doesn't really have mailing address either, but when I mail him something he gets a call from the postmaster to go pick whatever it is up.

I have made 2 copies of everything that I had sent in, starting with the I-130 packet all the way up to the IV package.

One copy for me and I sent the other copies to my husband.

If you read James' shortcut, they suggest to get an additional certified copy of the birth certificate, military record, things like that in case the embassy doesn't receive the IV packet from the NVC.

Don't panic, because people say that their SO only had the photocopies of the paperwork they sent in for them...that should be enough.

If your husband doesn't have copies of everything you mailed in to the NVC you should make copies for his own file. Just to be safe. Cairo will try to reschedule your interview if they haven't "gotten" the packet from the NVC.

Well my husband said he has mad 2 copys of everthing we have sent but i dont think we made copys of the I-130 i hope this wont be a problem. I hope they just get it and dont loss it, I know lots of people who have gone threw this same Journey in Jordan and nobody has had any problems with lost cases so i hope eveything goes fine.

Thanks!

I'm sure it will be fine!! Just think positive! Now on that note....guess tomorrow I should start looking for a December NVC 2009 Edition????:blink::blush:
